Bad news.

As of 3:17pm Sunday, my laptop is a coaster, taking with it, my ability to post a fic update today.

There are no words to express how upset I am about this, as I've always prided myself on someone who kept my word. I can only offer my sincerest apologies that I am breaking my word today. There is, however, some good news. Or it's what I keep telling myself so I don't burst into tears. Again. The fic is not gone. It's in my gmail account, albeit in an unbetaed sense. So, I can recreate it, once I get a new system, if in fact the old one cannot be repaired.

Please believe me that I will do everything I can to get back online and back posting as soon as possible. Any good thoughts would be appreciated. Once again, I am so sorry.

ETA: 12:50pm - Laptop is at computer store. Hopefully will know if it's repairable in a few hours. Thanks so much to all for your kind words. *hugs you*

Oh for goodness sake, you're giving us a gift with your stories, something you don't have to do at all. And here you are feeling guilty about a delay that you can't help. We should be thanking you for all the good you've given us. I for one am perfectly willing to wait however long it takes for you to get back to the story. And in case, I haven't said it before, I thank you for this wonderful story and for the many others you've given us as well. I hope everything works out alright with your computer.

I just feel bad, because my word is everything to me. Does that make sense? I don't make promises I can't keep, and this just hit me right out of left field. The outpouring of support has meant so much to me. You have no idea.
