Bad news.

As of 3:17pm Sunday, my laptop is a coaster, taking with it, my ability to post a fic update today.

There are no words to express how upset I am about this, as I've always prided myself on someone who kept my word. I can only offer my sincerest apologies that I am breaking my word today. There is, however, some good news. Or it's what I keep telling myself so I don't burst into tears. Again. The fic is not gone. It's in my gmail account, albeit in an unbetaed sense. So, I can recreate it, once I get a new system, if in fact the old one cannot be repaired.

Please believe me that I will do everything I can to get back online and back posting as soon as possible. Any good thoughts would be appreciated. Once again, I am so sorry.

ETA: 12:50pm - Laptop is at computer store. Hopefully will know if it's repairable in a few hours. Thanks so much to all for your kind words. *hugs you*

*ugh* These are really bad news. I was looking forward to the next chapter.

But no need to apologize. It's really not your fault. My laptop is also quite difficult at time. Just yesterday all my bookmarks disappeared.
You can be glad that you still have the fic on your gmail account.
And who knows, maybe your laptop can be restored? *crosses fingers for you*

Believe me, so was I. There are no words to describe how I was feeling yesterday after my laptop died. *sniff*

I kow how it feels, when nothing works any longer. And when you realize how many files aren't saved anywhere else... *argh*

Sadly no. The laptop is toast. Holding out hope for the hard drive as techie is cautiously optimistic.
