Author’s Note: I feel I must mention that this scenario is not made up. I used something that happened in my real life and applied it to the monaboyd situation. So, maybe I’m not that creative, but it still makes for a good story! :)

Well, I suppose it had something to do with the fact that I had never considered myself gay.
Sure, I had done my share of homosexual experimentation as a horny teenager, but had come to the firm conclusion that I was definitely attracted to girls. Girls are gorgeous, sexy creatures, pleasing to the eye and deliciously sweet. When I thought about shagging a guy…a sweaty, nasty, smelly boy, it seemed like such a waste of a good shag when it could have gone to a goddess with a slender waist, gorgeously soft hair, a mouth-watering chest, and a wonderfully squeezable arse…
I guess I had just never seen these features on a guy before. Well, that was before I met Billy.
He’s so much more beautiful than a girl could ever be. Those dazzling eyes, that beautiful hair, that cute nose, that tight body, that sexy little arse, and those wonderfully pouty lips that just beg to be kissed. I swear, there’s times that it’s all I can do to keep myself from jumping on him at that very moment and snogging him senseless.
When I first started having thoughts about Billy, I immediately tried to put them out of my head. I was so scared that, if I let myself dwell on it, Billy might notice something different in how I was acting towards him, and I was afraid that might harm our friendship. If I ever lost Billy as a friend, I don’t know what I’d do. Sometimes the thought of that spectacular guy is the only thing that keeps me going.
However, this avoidance of the issue proved to be in vain, because Billy began to notice something anyway.
“Dom, what’s bothering you?” he asked, looking inquisitively at me with that angelic little face of his. “I can tell you’ve had something on your mind for the past couple of days now.”
“Ah…it’s nothing, Billy, nothing that I want to talk about anyway.” No use trying to hide anything from that man, better to just come out and be blunt and hope he’ll let it go, though fat chance of that! The man’s stubborn as a mule!
“Aw, c’mon, Dommie! You know you can tell me anything! After shooting today, let’s pop down to the pub, just you and me, and together we can drink away whatever’s got you down. What do ya say? Let old Bill make it all better? Drinks on me, mate!” he tempted.
Oh, did I ever just want to give in and let the truth come pouring out, and look into those deep eyes of his and see reflected in them all the love that was in my own heart. But, of course, I knew Billy was straight. It could never happen. I was silly to even wish for such a thing.
“Nah, Billy, it’s just something I need to deal with on my own. S’nothing, really. I just got a lot on my mind right now. I’ll be fine in a few days once I sort it all out, that’s all.”
“Now that’s a load of shit if I know anything, and I know a lot more about you than you think, Mr. Monaghan! Fine, then, if I can’t drag you out with me, then I’ll come to you. Tonight, we’re staying in, your place, and I’ll bring the booze!”
And with that, he turned, giving me a devilish grin, leaving me with my mouth hanging open and no chance to protest, as someone had just called for places.
“Well!” I thought to myself, “This should make for an interesting evening!”
