Billy was a little embarrassed when he woke to find himself practically wrapped up in Dom’s arms. The situation didn’t seem to bother Dom at all as he thanked Mosa and Maurice before following Billy to the room, stopping only to place a wake up call for them next morning.
Entering the room, they didn’t fight over who was getting into the shower first. Billy decided that for them when he collapsed on the bed and muttered, “You go first, I can’t move.”
Dom didn’t reply, just made his way to the bathroom, quickly undressing and getting into the shower.
Billy tried to keep from falling asleep, he needed a shower badly. After a considerable amount of time had passed and Dom failed to return, Billy forced himself up off the bed and went to see what was taking him so long.
Knocking on the door, he called “Dom, save some hot water for me will ya?”
There was no reply so Billy knocked again before turning the knob and announcing, “Dom, I’m coming in, if you’re doing anything you don’t want me to see, I suggest you stop right now.”
There was no reply.
Billy stepped into the bathroom and found the room so steamy that it was hard to see in front of him. Approaching the shower, he called out, “Dom, you alright in there?”
Slowly he pulled the shower curtain aside. Inside the stall he found Dom leaning against the far wall, water beating down on him as he snored softly, fast asleep.
Billy smiled to himself and whispered, “Poor Dommie,” as he reached in and turned off the water getting a little wet in the process but it didn’t bother him.
Reaching behind him, he grabbed a towel and turned around to help Dom out; by the time he did, Dom was awake, but just barely.
“Here ya go, Dom.” Billy said as he helped wrap the towel around him.
Dom looked up at Billy in surprise as if just now noticing him there.
“Billy?” he questioned in a voice groggy with sleep. “What…oh, thanks man.”
“No problem mate.” Billy said with a smile. “Come on now, off to bed. You really need your beauty sleep.”
Dom stepped from the shower and before leaving the room, leaned over to give Billy a small hug and said, “’Night Bills.”
With the door now shut, Billy was once again left with his fantasies of Dom; this time with a visual aid in which to reference for his task at hand, so to speak.
When he got to bed, he found that Dom was taking up most of it. He tried to push the dead weight of his sleeping body over but didn’t succeed. Instead, he found himself having to squeeze into the curve of Dom’s body and adjusting himself to fit into the contour. At first, it wasn’t very comfortable. He wiggled around a bit but couldn’t seem to find the right spot. As if on queue, Dom pulled back slightly allowing more room for Billy and then enveloped him in his arms. Billy looked back and saw that Dom was truly still asleep which allowed Billy to relax into him without concern, soon falling into a deep sleep himself.
Morning was announced by the incessant ring of the phone with the wake up call they had placed upon their return. Billy awoke to find himself practically laying on top Dom, completely encased in his arms. When he made a move to push himself up, he froze and looked quickly up at Dom whose eyes were just as wide as he stared back with a somewhat surprised look on his face.
They both felt it; and both were rendered immobile with indecision as to what to do about it. There they were practically in a lovers embrace, each with cocks fully erect pressing up against the other and every move they made only served to make matters worse, or better depending on how you looked at it.
“Um, morning Bills.” Dom said sheepishly.
Billy said nothing as he continued to look at Dom with a frightened expression on his face not knowing what to do.
Dom saw this and felt almost pity for his mate, sometimes he could be so inhibited. It was just them; no one else was in the room. It was a natural response; there wasn’t a thing wrong with it, why couldn’t Billy just accept it and relax.
“Now would be a good time to talk, don’t ya think Billy?” asked Dom.
Billy couldn’t find his voice. He wanted nothing more than to talk about it but he was afraid of what Dom had to say so he couldn’t, not now. Ignoring the question, Billy leaped off of Dom and quickly headed for the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
Dom sighed in frustration. Reaching down he went to slide his hand inside his boxers when he realized he wasn’t wearing any. “No wonder Billy ran off, he probably thought I was trying to seduce him.” Dom thought. Then deciding that wasn’t such a bad idea, he wrapped his hand around his erection and allowed visions of a night that could have been to enter his mind and bring him to completion.
In the bathroom Billy was exercising his right to fantasize as well; all the while realizing that this was happening far too often to be dismissed as a whim.
Neither realized that they were participants in the same game.
Dom soon heard the shower running and was grateful for it gave him time to compose himself and clean things up a bit before Billy returned. By the time he did, Dom had his things ready to go and brushed past Billy to get a quick showing in before leaving since that was a luxury that would be severely missed once they were back on the road.
Nothing was mentioned about what happened that morning as they gathered their bags and exited the room to go meet the crew in the lobby where they proceeded to the truck. Piling in the back, Billy sat next to Dom, not as close as usual, but close none the less. This settled Dom somewhat, knowing that if Billy was really upset about what happened he’d probably not what to be near him. After everyone settled in, they were off on their nine hour drive to Ranomfana National Park, stopping periodically along the way for short breaks and lunch.
There was little chitchatting this early in the day. Everyone more or less kept to themselves. An hour or so into the trip, Kevin passed around bottles of water and bagels for breakfast and afterwards the discussion became livelier. Scott was telling Dom that they’d be shooting him amongst the lemurs tomorrow at the park. Then, the next day they’d wrap things up with him reporting on the diminishing breeds of birds, frogs and reptiles, mainly chameleons due to the deforestation.
Billy half listened but hadn’t commented on anything. He was busy concentrating on Dom and how he loved the scent of him after he’d just showered. He was concentrating on the feel of Dom’s arm, placed protectively around his waist as they made their way down the bumping, twisty, windy road; he didn’t think Dom even realized he’d done that. He was concentrating on the man’s face and how it lit up when he talked with Scott about what they’d be filming in the days ahead. He was concentrating on the signals that were somehow getting misconstrued between his brain and his heart regarding his feelings for Dom.
So engrossed as he was in these thoughts, he didn’t realize Dom was talking to him until he felt a light tickle at his waist and heard Dom say, “Earth to Billy, ya there mate?”
Shaking his head just a bit, as if this could clear his mind of several days of confusion, Billy blinked and said, “Sorry, must have wandered off there for a sec.”
Dom gave a nervous little laugh in reply as he leaned in closer for only Billy’s ears to hear and asked, “Are we okay, you and I?”
Billy looked into Dom’s eyes and saw doubt and concern. He tried to ease Dom’s mind with a single reply, “Yeah?” But it came out shaky and a little bit in the form of a question. Nothing in his eyes changed so Billy did the next best thing he could to alleviate the situation; he leaned back into Dom and pressed his body from shoulder to knee a little closer to him. It was an unspoken truce that they’d forever shared between them, their universal sign that all was well when words failed them.
Dom gave Billy’s side a gentle squeeze in acceptance of this truce and left his arm right where it was at, because where else should it be?
Both Billy and Dom closed their eyes and napped for a while, oblivious to the occasional curious stares that the rest of the group threw them.
When they stopped a few hours later for lunch, everyone was very excited to be able to stand up and walk around for a bit. Mosa set out lunch while Billy helped Maurice distribute drinks. They enjoyed the sandwiches, chips and ice cold cans of cola that were purchased at the local store in the city before they left. It reminded them of home and put them all in good spirits.
While they ate, Maurice told them of the lemurs that they would be seeing. He described the different varieties and how some are only nocturnal but all are fairly mischievous. He then looked purposely from Dom to Billy and added, “Some people have lemurs for pets. But many make the mistake of trying to create an immediate bond with them. You can’t do that with a lemur. You can let them jump on top of you, wrap themselves around you, play with you but don’t make any sudden moves or they will run off in fear. You must be patient and wait for trust to be established. Once it is, you will be rewarded with a loving faithful companion for life.”
Neither Dom nor Billy responded to this since they knew Maurice was implying more than his words conveyed. The rest of the group just nodded as if accepting his account at face value.
Too soon, much to the disappointment of them all, they had to gather their things and get back on the road. As they were taking their respective positions in the truck, Mosa turned to Maurice and said sarcastically, “Comme c'est doux à vous de conseiller les amoureux, Maurice.”
(How sweet of you to counsel the lovebirds Maurice.)
To which Maurice retorted, “Quelqu'un a dû le faire. Les faibles sont complètement dense!”
(Someone had to do it. The poor things are completely dense!)
They both laughed in agreement at this as they drove off.
The rest of the trip was uneventful. Scott, Matt and Kevin were each trying to get as comfortable as possible, laying all over the back of the truck just to catch a wink or two. Maurice and Mosa were up front in periodic discussions spoken only in French so that no one had any idea as to what they were on about.
As for Billy and Dom, the game began anew; the leaning into, the possessive arm around, the inevitable snuggle to get closer, the sigh of contentment, and the smile of acknowledgment.
It was long after sunset by the time they made camp. Few words were said while the weary souls stumbled through the task of setting everything up. Soon, they were all encased in their tents fast asleep. This included the two little big men who dozed protectively in each others arms, settling in without question as they lay down to sleep that night.

Ya telling me!! God they need to cross this line before i through them both onto the line so they can just bloody well get it on and be happy. But the weird thing is i think they both no now that something is going on yet there no uncomfortable around each other they just go back to being BillyandDom again which is just sooo incredible. Normally people would be getting a bit angsty but these two just carry on with the hugging and comforting each other. I love that angle about them. You right it so well.
Can't wait for more darlin!

And you secondary characters are great too; there's something almost Shakepearean about them, and their commentary (like Rosencrantz and Gulidenstern or something).
Anyway, I really adore this, and I can't wait for more.
