Disclaimer: Iam a big bag of lies. And you know you like it.
Author Notes: Drabble for drabblesness fun. Based on the fact that I was listening too Smoking Popes and the song "I Was Right" inspired it all. It's really just this short, hence no cut tagness. :) Wrote a few more drabbles that aren't Dom/Billy (whoo change) that are located in me el-journal-o in case theres intrest from anyone. :) And I'm rambling. :X

"Smile."

Dominic looks up from his chicken curry that's a mess on his plate. Elijah's staring at him and Dominic shifts under his gaze. He hunches his shoulders and leans back against the booth and flicks his eyes over at Billy and his girlfriend a few tables away. He looks back to Elijah and gives him a look as if it's to explain it all.

"You can't just keep moping around Dom. You were fine until we got here. Why'd you even want to come if you knew they'd be here? Dom are you listening to me? Dom."

Dominic doesn't say a word and returns back to his chicken curry. He's moved the rice to one side and the chicken to another. They used to go so good together he remembers. He tries not to remember the times he and Billy were good together. He's spent so much time thinking about how he's failed with Billy. Too many sleepless nights waiting for the space in the bed besides him to fill. He grabs the past and holds it into his hands and stares wide eyed at what he had and hopes he can somehow correct what he's messed up. He's not the boy that Billy left behind, he's had to survive out in the cold of LA without him. But he's finally come face to face with what Billy has become since he's left Dominic. While Billy's laughing and happy with his girlfriend, Dominic's still left behind wide eyed and broken.

He pushes the rice into a huddled pile and looks back up to Elijah who's still staring impatiently at him.

"Today I found out I was right."

Elijah looks more confused then ever before. Before he speaks Dominic explains.

"I always thought I would die if I saw Billy with someone else." He looks up to the laughing Billy and his girl. "I was right."

He pushes his plate away and without another word gets up and leaves the restaurant and everything else behind.

I just finished reading and I'm really on the verge on tears! But I like your story nonetheless!

"I always thought I would die if I saw Billy with someone else." He looks up to the laughing Billy and his girl. "I was right."
That was what got to me the most! I was lost right there! So much sadness, in not so many words! I loved it!

I couldn't help but think "Well, I would have made fish curry" when I saw that that was what they were eating!
