Hey my fellow slashers! I'm kinda new to the lotrips community, and was wondering if anyone might be willing to beta a quick story for me. It's pretty short. I'm looking for more than just spelling and grammar, I'd like to get story/character/writing input as well.

Additionally, I have several story ideas that I'd love to pass along. I just don't have as much time to write as I'd like, and I hate to see good ideas go to waste. Anyone looking for inspiration? Get your free bunnies here!

I'm not offering beta or asking for bunnies ((Sorry, I know what a pain in the ass they are)), but I was wondering if you maybe, happened to know what that lotrips thing stands for, exactly. Cuz, I started seeing that recently, and I just don't get it. It is Beyond Me.

So um. If you know? (or anyone else that happens to see this, knows) Please help a body out.

From what I gather [though it may be wrong], LOTRIPS is just like regular RPS [Real Person Slash] or RPF [Real Person Fiction] for the Lord of the Rings actors, except that they're very short. I think of them as RPS/RPF drabbles.

ahh. so. what does the I stand for?

which is really what I was wondering. I mean, I know RPS is real person slash, and rps, and fps and all that, but what is that "i".

I guess I did come off as not knowing what it was at all, lol. No mistake, I read it, I write it, but the lotrips is new.

There was actually a discussion about this a few days ago. Apparently, no one really knows what the i stands for. It's just there.

*traipses in*

I heard that the "i" (originally lower case, I think?) was just put there because that's how everyone pronounces it... LOTRPS = LOTRiPS. It's like, phonetics crap.

All that goodly stuff I don't get. *grins* Of course, I could be full of bull...

*shrugs*

I wondered if that wasn't the deal, if it wasn't just in there for fun.

it's neat to hear all the different explainations, though
