Or the one where Dom is a spy and Billy is a crime boss.

Billy Boyd looked round the crowd at the Museum. Yet another of his Balls was a success. Across the room, he noticed a young man taking a drink from one of the waiters. Moments later, however, the young man had disappeared. Billy could not see him anywhere.
He went over to a group of his associates whom he had noticed where having a discussion on the other side of the room. ‘Russell’ and the whole group erupted with laughter. However, they stopped when they noticed that Billy had joined their number. “Err…we were just having a joke Boss,” said one of the men, not quite looking Billy in the eye.
“Why aren’t you doing what I pay you for?” Billy replied and shooed the guy away. As he did this he noticed the same young man again, this time he was looking directly towards Billy’s group…and Billy in particular. Billy smiled to himself and then turned his attention back to the group.
Within a short while, Billy had the guy’s name and found himself chatting away easily. By the end of the night he had arranged to meet this guy, this Dominic Monaghan, the following day and they, to Billy’s disappointment, were going to discuss business.
Dominic went home feeling rather pleased with himself. It had all been easier then he thought, than he’d expected, but then again Billy Boyd was not what he had been led to expect either.
As he hung up the suit in his wardrobe and climbed into bed, he wondered what he was going to say to his bosses. And more importantly what he was going to say to Billy. Dom had no idea about businesses of any sort; he was going to have to do some quick work in the morning if he was going to be taken on by Billy.
Next morning, Dom woke and went to work early. Not only did he have to deliver his report on last night’s events, but he also had to learn how to be a convincing businessman to get into Billy’s inner circle. While Dom’s boss Ian didn’t really elaborate, he could tell he was pleased with him as they hadn’t expected this kind of result so soon. Thanking him for his work, Ian sent Dom down into an office manned by a guy named Viggo to be given a quick lesson in business. Two hours later Dom was sifting through the wealth of material that he had been given by Viggo and trying to take it all in.
Dom was to assume the identity of a successful businessman looking to increase his profits in as easy a way as possible. He kept repeating this to himself as he travelled in his car to the meeting.
He parked his car a few blocks away and walked the short distance to the restaurant where he was supposed to be meeting Billy. To say that Dom was nervous would have been an understatement, but he wasn’t really sure why. Was it due to who Billy was and his reputation, or was it merely the fact that he was having dinner with a man whom Dom found quite appealing?
To Dom’s surprise Billy was waiting for him, seated at a table near the front of the restaurant. And he was on his own. He stood up as Dom walked through the door and waved at him, then he held out his hand and shook Dom’s warmly, smiling at him. Dom felt like his stomach was home to a million butterflies. He managed to shake Billy’s hand and smile back all the while reminding himself what he was supposed to be doing.
The dinner went well and Dom managed to secure another meeting with Billy, this time at his offices, something which Dom took to be a good sign. They had spent the first half of the meeting talking about what they did. Dom, managing to keep up the pretence, told Billy, he had a business which dealt with the import and export of animals. It was legit of course, stuff like iguanas and other exotic pets, and while it did well enough he was looking for an investor so that he could expand it even further. Billy seemed interested in what Dom was saying and invited him for a further meeting the following week.
They had then spent the rest of the meeting talking about their lives.
Billy had disclosed that he had grown up on housing estates in Glasgow and this had made him a bit of a fighter. He knew how to stick up for himself and how to look after his assets. Billy had started as an apprentice in an office and had risen through the ranks. What he didn’t tell Dom, but which Dom already knew, was that after a couple of years working in the office. Billy had ‘dispatched’ his boss and taken over the business, faking documents to make it look like Billy had been groomed by Sean as a protégé and that this was a natural move. Soon anyone who dared to question this ‘decision’ or anything else that Billy did had been ‘transferred’ to other offices around the country.

Something about 'look after his assets' made me sporfle, but then Big Billy Boyd puts me in a sporfling mood. (If sporfling isn't a word it should be)
Good, intriguing, and who better than Dom to deal with exotic pets :)
