Put me In the Car
R/NC-17
Dom needs a car ride.
Kinda short. Kinda pointless.
Dedicated to Kurtis, because he loved cars. He was like a brother to me, but then things went wrong, and he took the wrong path. He stole cars alot, and moved from foster home to foster home, and in and out of juvenile. I hadn't talked to him for a while, but everytime I would pass him in the streets, his eyes would kind of sparkle. I remember the last time he hugged me. Kurtis once, when we were in grade eight, wrote a story for English class which included the line "Mesmerized by her exquisite tongue" and he was suspended for two days. This is also dedicated to him because everything I knew about sex when I was a little girl was because of him. And the number of times he made me laugh is endless... I remember at all.
Kurtis stole his last car last night, and crashed it. And I'm one of the few who'll remember him as an amazing person, not just a problem child, or a troubled youth. I love you, man.
Now that I've depressed everyone, really, the story is not that depressing.

"Put me in the car."
"What?"
"The car, Bills. I need to get out of here."
Billy thought that maybe he was hearing things. Didn't he have a few dreams once that started like this...
"Where do you wanna..."
"I don't care." Dom insisted, shaking his head furiously, "I don't care. Just fucking drive."
They got in the car. The bubbling roar of the engine, and then Billy peeled out of the drive way and set a course for nowhere.
They sat in silence for a long period of time, and the only thing Billy could hear was Dom's slow, tortured breathing.
Soon, the silence became too much to bear, so Billy broke it.
"Dom, what..." Billy didn't know if he should ask, but he knew he had to, "what is it? Is it..." He trailed off. He couldn't say the name.
"Elijah?" Dom finished slowly for him, voice almost cracking.
Billy nodded slowly, around a sigh. Dom did the same.
"Yeah. The little guy is..."
"Intense?" Billy offered. Dom nodded again.
"Billy, why is it that we can..."
"I dunno." Billy stated, cutting him off and knowing exactly what he was going to say. Finish each other's sentences? Know exactly what eachother are about to say, when with Elijah, you have to be able to articulate and clarify? Be so in love but be too daft to say anything? Well, not likely the last one.
Billy just stared ahead and drove. He put up with Elijah. He put up with Dom. He loved putting up with Dom. Actually, he stayed up nights thinking about putting up with Dom. And talking to Dom. And laughing with Dom. And kissing Dom.
"Pull over here."
"What? Why?" Billy asked, blinking out of his thoughts when Dom spoke up.
"Just do it." Billy did it. Billy would jump off a bridge for Dom, so he hoped Dom never asked for that.
He pulled the car over to the side of the road, and put it in park. Dom was still staring straight ahead, and Billy watched him for a moment.
He lay his head back on the seat, shifting so that he had a comfortable place to rest his arm. It was balmy. Much, much too hot, and Billy's shirt was sticking to him. He tried to ignore it.
"Billy..." Dom said, and Billy looked over. Desperation lit up Dom's face, "I need..."
And Billy had heard Dom say that in his head a million times.
"You need..." Billy's sentence was cut off effectively by Dom's lips.
Billy had imagined kissing Dom many, many times, but his fantasies were nothing compared to the reality. Dom's mouth was firm, playing, questioning, demanding. Dom's hands curled around Billy's biceps, and Billy could just imagine what they would feel like curled around other parts of his body.
"Oh, God, Dom..." Billy moaned, when their lips parted and he could breath again. Dom was half in his lap, over the division between the two seats.
"Need you, Bills."
"No. No, Dominic, you don't know what you're saying....Dom!" Billy half yelled, half gasped when Dom's hand fluttered down his body and massaged his straining erection.
"Jesusfuck, Dom, stop, I can't..." Dom was grinning, and bringing his hand to the zipper of Billy's jeans. He was straddling his lap now, grinding into his leg, and this was everything Billy wanted, but God Damn...
"Dom! I can't just..."
"Yes you can." Dom said, grin still firmly in place as he used his hand to free Billy from the confines of his jeans. He stroked up the shaft once, making Billy buck up off the seat.
"Oh, God, Dom...Elijah." Billy moaned, "What about Elijah?" Dom continued to stroke him, cocky smile fully in place. He was enjoying this, the bastard. Enjoying seeing Billy writhe, and squirm.
"I'll worry about Elijah." Dom said, quietly, "You worry about you. Tell me you've thought about this." He continued to stroke, each movement of Dom's amazing hand brought Billy closer to seeing stars.
"I...I have." Billy gasped, giving himself in to Dom completely.
"Tell me you think about me...that you want me. That you watch me with Elijah, and want that."
"I do, Dominic. Jesus, but I do."
Dom's hands, as the rumors went, could work magic at anything. And Billy firmly believed that as Dom sped up, adding a little flick of his wrist to the end of each stroke.
"Come for me, Billy. Come." Dom muttered into his ear, and it was all too much.
A few more, and Billy was gone, over the edge, spilling over Dom's hand with a loud cry.
Dom smiled and wiped his hand on the leather of the car, as Billy lay his head back on the seat.
Watching him for a moment, Dom smiled, satisfied, before leaning down and claiming Billy's lips in a possessive kiss.
Dom's tongue, on Billy's list of Dom's attributes, went right at the top, after his hands.
Breaking the kiss, Dom's grin came flashing back.
"What are you thinking?" He asked Billy, cocking his head to the side. Billy laughed, trying to get his breath back.
"Are you that kind of boyfriend? How does Elijah put up with you?"
At the mention of Elijah, Dom's eyes got dark, and he unwrapped himself from Billy's arms and clamored to his side of the car.
"Sorry." Dom said quietly, staring out the window.
Billy shook his head.
"No, it's alright, Dom. It's not like I didn't want that." Dom grunted.
There was silence as Billy used his shirt to clean himself up, and chucked it into the back seat. He shrugged his jacket on over his shoulders.
"Exquisite tongue." Billy said quietly, turning his head to look at Dom.
"What the hell?" Dominic asked. This was Billy's favorite look of Dom's; when he scrunched up his features into a look of pure confusion.
"That's what I was thinking about earlier...you have an amazing tongue, Dominic."
Billy thought that Dom might blush for a moment, but in an instant, that passed and his cocky smile returned.
"You have no idea, Boyd." He assured, sticking said tongue out of his mouth and wagging it in Billy's direction.
Billy let out a shaky breath, before laughing it off, and starting the ignition.
As he pulled into traffic, he wondered if maybe he would have been better off if he had never gotten a little taste of what he had always wanted.
They drove home in silence, and Dom stepped out of the car.
"Are you coming in?" He asked, turning back to Billy. Billy stared straight ahead.
"Is Elijah here?"
"You know he is, Billy."
"Then, no. Goodnight, Dom."
"Night, Billy. And I really am sorry...I don't know why I did that. I couldn't..."
"Forget about it."
"Well, If you..."
"I said forget it, Dominic. Elijah's waiting."
With that, Billy put the car in reverse and roared out of the driveway, leaving Dom staring after him.

That's a very beautiful line. It's always the beautiful ones who are punished the hardest. Or ignored the most completely. Your friend sounded very beautiful.
