Help please?

I have an idea for a story, that i'm going to start writing tonight and hope to post in the next few days and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to posy onto here (Monaboyd)?

Do i just type into my journal or can i do it on word and then copy and paste it into my journal?

How do i get it so that the story doesn't get posted in it's entirety on the front page?

Any type of help and advice would be lovely.

It's better if you type it up in MS Word and get it beta'd by someone you now. After that you can post it here. You can keep the text, which you don't want to show up on the front page behind a lj-cut
