friendly challenge

I have a challenge for everybody! Write a fic about two friends who become more then friends..however somthing is holding them back but they work through it..or don't if you like them angsty..Can be any any pairing. Must be longer then drabble. Series are exceptable. Include a strong use of color in the fics. Has to be posted by dec 31 2003!
