“You aren’t Charlie, Dom! This isn’t you!” Billy yelled, the last word coming out as a desperate strangled cry. “You can’t do this to yourself,” nothing but a whisper. He threw the little baggie of white powder down on the dresser.

“No Billy, you could never understand what it’s like to be here, in the middle of fucking no where alone, because you spend all your time in your cozy little flat with your perfect dancer girlfriend and all your theater friends . You don’t even bother to call and then you just show up when you think I need saving. I don’t need any of your hero complex bullshit. You gave that title away, you made your choice.” Dom shouted angry, his words acid, severing the last thread that tied them together, betrayal finally separating what was once a single entity .

“Fine, that’s how you want it. You made this choice Dominic.”
