Warnings: Mention of Ali and Jack. Cute hurt/comfort with a drunken Scot.
Summary: The after effects of the bungee jumping Billy did on Adrenaline Rush. (Can be seen as a one shot if you want it to be.)

glamoursnipe's comp is sorta broken. She lost a fight with a virus. D: Anyway, I don't think it's too bad, I tried to go back and fix things.

The cell phone ringing in the middle of the night woke him out of his deep sleep. He fell off the bed in the cliché manner that he always hated, being an actor one got tired of life's clichés. Of course he had to complete it with the sheets following him to the cold wooden floor. His mind was to far gone to admit how cold the floor was.
Sitting up he made a sleepy noise rubbing at his eyes. Without his contacts in the numbers on his clock looked like blobs of light. He reached up dazedly for his ringing cell phone and his glasses. Finally getting his glasses on he answered the caller, "Hullo?" His eyes now in focus saw the clock said 2 am.
"Dom?" A soft accented voice, if it was any higher it could have been a tom boyish girl. A slight smile crept across the worn face in the darkness. Billy.
Sleepiness disappearing, Dom sat straight up trying to be fully alert. It was rare Billy called him like this. "Bills? What is it?"
"I did it."
Dom waited politely for the usual/expected explanation but got nothing, just heavy breathing. "Billy, what did you do?"
"I did that gravity-less flying shit."
Dom's eyes widened and he sat back down on the edge of the bed. They were silent minus Billy's still heavy breathing. At first Dom wanted to make a joke about Billy calling during sex, but something stopped him. "Are you ok? Billy where are you?"
"Ehm, I'm not too sure."
Dom sighed falling backwards into the sheets, placing a hand over his eyes. "You're fucking drunk aren't you?"
A silence followed before the innocent response. "Yes I am."
At least he was being honest, Dom couldn't help but laugh over that. "Alright, where is Ali then?"
"Scotland, with Jack."
"So you aren't in Scotland?" This question apparently required extra thinking, it took longer than usual. The silence bothered Dom, he sat up again sighing, "Billy where are you?"
Part of Dom started to worry, Billy hardly got this drunk, ever. Dom had seen it once while filming LOTR and Billy had been so nervous over the first premiere that he wound up drinking more than usual.
Not to mention apparently being Scottish meant Billy could down more than the recommended amount of any drink and still be up right while his friends were on the ground unconscious. Just how much did Billy drink?!
"Billy?" Dom tried again raising his voice slightly.
"Don't yell." A rustling sound was heard on the other line and Dom raised his eye brows waiting patiently. "I am in..well I'm not too sure. Sorry Dommeh. We just finished filming the flying thing."
"So you went to the pub after the shoot was over, sure. Then what?"
"I'm still shaking…"
Realization struck Dom and he sighed into the phone, "Billy, it's ok. Are you some where you can sit down, safely?" A noise that told Dom to continue, "Alright, just sit and breathe."
"I wanted to call earlier but …I was a wee bit embarrassed."
"Over what? Everyone knows your scared of heights."
"I know, I just - I had to do this." Billy said after a few moments of silence.
"What? To prove you could? You could have waited for Elijah or I to do it with you, you know?"
"I want Jack to see how brave his father is- not the scared of everything high up nut his father is."
"Jack is how old? 3 or 4?" Dom asked lightly. "He wouldn't have minded, Billy. Even when he does grow up. Kid's are cool like that, Jack isn't any different." Billy made another noise and Dom couldn't tell what Billy was more upset about, the fact that he was still shaken up over the entire jump or the fact that he hadn't thought through the entire situation. "It's ok, Billy. Don't worry about it."
"Every time I close my eyes I still see the ground rushing up towards me, I can't breathe and I sit up screaming. It's pathetic."
"It's not pathetic, Billy. People have fears you had the guts to confront yours." Dom reassured as a wave of sleepiness washed over him. "Be truthful, are you in a room with a bed and a window with dreadful curtains?"
"How did you know?"
"You idiot, you're in your hotel room." Dom exclaimed frustrated but relieved. He was afraid he'd have to talk with Billy as the other man walked back to find his hotel. "Climb into bed you nut." He heard rustling and a sleepy sigh. "I'll stay on until we both fall asleep."
"I won't fall asleep, Dom. I don't want to see the jump again."
"Close your eyes," Dom demanded. "Just imagine me there with you, hug the pillow as close as you can. I would hug you close and I'd watch over you while you slept, I'd tell you it's ok and you can go to sleep now, nothing is going to happen."
"Can I fly up tomorrow?"
"I won't be free until five, I'm filming Flash Forward."
"After five?" Billy's accent was heavier, the other man was getting sleepier.
Dom groaned, "Yes, Billy. I'll be there waiting. Get a flight and text me when you get off the plane. You can stay as long as you want." They were silent for a few minutes before Dom whispered into the phone, "It'll be ok, Bill. Nothings going to happen, you're safe. Go to sleep." A soft snore came through from the other side and Dom smiled sleepily. "I love you, see you tomorrow."
Before he hung up he could have sworn he heard a soft whisper of "I love you too.."

I'm so sure that Billy called Dom to tell him he loved him...before and after the jump!! And I know Dom was a bit jealous that Elijah could push him to do the show and to jump without him...knowing that he wished he was there to experience that with Billy. If he could I'm sure Dom would have jumped with him or at least held his hand before he jumped and was there with hugs and kisses when he was done!
Plus we know that Billy does hide most of his emotions with 'Strangers' and he was so terrified before the jump...we could see it, but like usual he laughed it off! I bet if Dom was there he would be balling crying as he held tight to Dom saying "I've changed my mind!!" LOL!
