Summary: On a typically bleak day in Billy Boyd's life, a young man shows up looking for a job.
Disclaimer: This story has obviously never happened. If anything that happens in this story actually has happened in real life, that's pure coincidence, and I really hope that it was the nicer stuff, and that the participants enjoyed it thoroughly, whoever they may have been. The characters and settings in this are my own, though I have borrowed Billy and Dom, in a virtual sense. Author's Notes: Many thanks to my husband for the beta. This AU is something I've wanted to write forever, and waymeet's "You Wear It Well" challenge gave me the perfect opportunity (not to mention the title) to do just that. I plan to post an expanded version on my own journal within the next month. In the meantime, please hop on over to the story. :)

I am going to expand this story in the middle, at least, and my husband has also requested a sequel.

I'm absolutely horrible at remembering to email people about updates, I'm afraid. The most reliable options I could suggest would be for you to friend me (I don't post terribly often, as a rule), for me to post in the communities, and/or for you to ping me via LJ PM.

Oh, please do friend me. I adore your fictions and I love new friends. I also hardly ever friends lock but I do it once in a great while.

Thanks! I am huge into photo shop. I'm not very good with it but once in a while I make an icon or two. That one is a screen cap from Billy's series "Empty". I made several Billy icons from that show.

I never got to see "Empty," unfortunately. Do you happen to know if it might still be airing in the U.K.? I'll be going there for a week in September, and hope springs eternal.

And just so you know, I'm not above asking for the (very) occasional icon from those I know do good work, especially when I'm desperate. ;)

I don't know if "Empty" is still airing or not. I can check with a few UK friends and see though. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Do enjoy your trip. I loved the UK. I went last year for two weeks and I am hoping to go again next year if all goes well.

Feel free to use any of my icons. Just put in a little credit and take any that work for you. I'd be flattered. And if there is something you want, I can give it a try. I am not always successful but I'd be glad to give it a go.
