Ficlets

Having had no access to a computer for several months, I had to settle for shaping whatever previous ideas I could manage to remember. The result is this jumbled mess of stories, ranging somewhere between drabbles and ficlets. A couple of these are Evangeline-centric, but Monaboyd is firmly in the background:


Billy watches Dom sleeping. PG-13: Sunshine Superman

Evangeline bows out gracefully. PG: Swan Song

Love‘s the greatest repairman of all. PG-13: Fix You

dang, this is your idea of a jumbled mess of stories? I think they're very good, myself. Each story had something that jumped out at me.

He lay his hand atop Dom's, watched the silver of their matching rings blaze with sunlight, and smiled.

Evangeline could act with the best of them ... but she was never meant to play the villain. sooo many people like to make her a cold heartless bitch. very glad that wasn't what happened here. :)

Funny how lovers become enemies in the space of a heartbeat.

The poor bloke surely hadn’t single-handedly invented kohl eyeliner, but he was as good a scapegoat as any.

Life had been insanity since Billy had awakened that morning, turned sleepily to his husband, smiled, and unthinkingly uttered the most dangerous words known to man:

It’s your birthday, Dommie. We’ll do anything you please.

they sound so much like our dom and billy.

I really liked reading these little quickies. Glad you have your access to computers again!

Thank you so much for the kind words, Kerry. : ) I'm really glad you enjoyed these; they felt rather jumbled in my mind, but I'm very happy to be writing again, nonetheless. I'll take jumbled messes over writer's block any ol' day. lol

Being computerless these last few months, I've been through the Monaboyd drought from hell. Lol Hopefully I can find some stuff to read, to get caught up. It's been too long!

I'd be interested in the full story of Fix you, that one really pulled me in.

Several of these ficlets - including Fix You - are nagging at me to become longer stories, so there's always a possibility. : )
