I haven't read this series before (probably because I've never seen Firefly), but I followed the link to the other chapters and read them (and this) in order. It's very interesting - I really like the idea of telepathic!Billy and trained-killer!Dom. I'm curious to know why they're being sent away - I have a feeling that William knows a fair bit more than he's letting on.

This has been a fun little sandbox to play in so far. Now that I'm getting close to finishing up my biggest AU, I'll probably be spending more time in this -verse so hopeful it won't be so long in between future updates.

I'm very tempted now - I want to know why Mal sounds like Han Solo, why Jayne's so unpleasant, why Kaylee sounds like a hillbilly and where River came from (bear in mind I've never seen any of these characters so I'm sorry if I've misinterpreted any of them). I think I'll have to rent the DVD when I get back from ORC.
