Billy met Dom halfway to the stage and pulled the younger man into his arms. His body shook as he cried into his lover's chest.

"Was it okay, Bills?" Dom asked. He had struggled with his vows, wanting them to express everything he felt for Billy without coming off too sappy.

Billy took a shaky breath, pressing his lips to Dom's neck. He looked up into Dom's eyes and fell in love all over again. "It was perfect, Dom. Just like you. I love you so much. I need you to know that. I need you to believe that."

Dom peppered kisses on Billy's face, before pressing his lips to Billy's bow-shaped ones. Their guests smiled softly, watching the men lose themselves in each other.

Viggo walked by them, a knowing smile on his face. Taking the microphone in his hand, he cleared his throat multiple times before the two finally separated.

"Thank you, Dominic. That was beautiful, and if you would all be so kind as put some money on a plate to pay for young Mr. Wood's therapy sessions, that would be most appreciated."

The guests laughed; Emilie kissing Elijah's cheek tenderly.

"I think that Mr. Boyd would like to say some words now." Viggo held out the microphone to Billy who kissed Dom lightly before walking to the stage.

"I love Dom. There's nothing more that I can really say," Billy began, his voice shaking. "When my dad died, I watched my mom slowly die of a broken heart. My grandmother told me after my mom's funeral that when you lose that one person who holds your heart, your soul, your life, there's no reason to live. No reason to go on. I knew how much my parents loved each other, and as I grew up, I knew that I didn't want to ever settle for anything less than a love like theirs: a love that I would die without. I didn't know that I would find that love in New Zealand, and I didn't know that I would face living without that love mere weeks ago."

Billy sat down on the stool near the microphone, pulling his guitar into his lap. "Dom's accident comes only second to the death of my parents. That day was one of the worse in my life, and I prayed to every deity that I would do anything and everything if they would bring my Dommeh back to me."

Wiping a stray tear away, Billy continued, "I know that you don't remember our life before the accident, Dom, and that's why I'm not going to talk too much about it. I am going to keep them safe here," he pointed to his heart, "until you're ready for them. But it doesn't matter if you get your memory back tomorrow or twenty years from now, because I promise you that I will spend the rest of my life making us new memories."

Billy plucked the strings on his guitar, and began to sing softly:

I'm gonna be here for you baby
I'll be a man of my word
Speak the language in a voice that you have never heard
I wanna sleep with you forever
And I wanna die in your arms
In a cabin by a meadow where the wild bees swarm

And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us

I wanna honor your mother
I wanna learn from your pa
I wanna steal your attention like a bad outlaw
I wanna stand out in a crowd for you
A man among men
I wanna make your world better than it's ever been

And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us

We'll follow the rainbow
Wherever the four winds blow
And there'll be a new day
Comin' your way

I'm gonna be here for you from now on
This you know somehow
You've been stretched to the limits but it's alright now
And I'm gonna make you a promise
If there's life after this
I'm gonna be there to meet you with a warm, wet kiss

And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us
I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll win your trust making memories of us

Dom listened to Billy’s words, his eyes never leaving his even as tears flowed freely down his cheeks. He felt Viggo’s arm tighten around his shoulders, but all he could think of was the lie he was perpetuating, he should have told Billy straight away of his duplicity but he was greedy, he needed Billy like he needed air to breath, he couldn’t tell him not until he was sure Billy wouldn’t leave him.

As Billy’s voice faded Dom pulled out of Viggo’s embrace and almost ran onto the stage, tears streaming down his face he stepped in front of Billy, took his face in his hands and kissed him. The guitar pressed between them, he wrapped his arms around Billy desperately not ever wanting to let him go.

"I love you so much, Billy. I love you. I love you. I love you," Dom repeated again and again, his tears soaking Billy's shirt.

"Don't cry, Dommeh. Don't cry," Billy said, his own voice laced with tears. "We're going to be so happy. We're going to be so good together."

Viggo wiped his eyes and walked up to the stage, patting the two lovers on the back. "I was going to say a few words about love and commitment, but I don't think that any of that is necessary: these two have shown in their words and actions how much they care for each other. I think that we can skip to the exchange of engagement rings, if that's alright."

Orlando and Emilie stood up, both with wet tear tracks on their faces. They stood behind Billy and Dom respectively, each holding small velvet boxes in their hands.

Dom turned and accepted the ring box from Emilie, lifting the ring from its velvet resting place he took Billy’s hand in his and tenderly kissed his knuckles. Turning his hand over, he kissed the pulse point in his wrist and then the palm of his hand before he lifted the ring and slid it onto Billy’s finger.

“I love you Billy Boyd. Until we can be formally married, this engagement ring is a symbol of the strength and endurance of that love.” He whispered as he kissed the ring as it sat on his finger. Taking Billy’s hand he pressed it against his heart, letting Billy feel the way it was racing then looked up into Billy’s wet green eyes. “I’ll never leave you, not while that ring is on your finger.”

Billy looked down at the silver band on his hands through blurry eyes. He leaned forward to kiss Dom again and then brought his left hand to his lips, kissing the ring on it. "I won't ever take it off. It's a part of me now, just like you are."

Orlando whimpered, sniffing loudly, and opened the small box he held. Billy's hand shook as pulled out the simple band.

"There's so much that I want to say, want to tell you," Billy said, taking Dom's left hand into his own. "But, it all comes down to three words: I love you. I will always love you. If you have to believe one thing, trust in one thing, trust me when I say that I love you more than life itself." Billy slipped the band unto Dom's long finger, and kissed Dom's palm.

Viggo cleared his throat, his eyes misty as he spoke again.

“I think you will all agree with me, that spiritually Dom and Billy are indeed beginning their lives before you. I know you all join with me in congratulating them on their commitment to one and other and the absolute joy that is their mutual love. I also hope that you will all be able to join them at their wedding.” He paused, glancing to his side at the couple in question who were wrapped in each other’s arms, linked from knee to shoulder, their lips fused wetly. They remained completely oblivious to the world around them. All that existed was the other.

“Please friends enjoy yourselves, dinner will now be served in the marquee behind us.” He gestured. “and as soon as they come up for air, I’m sure they’d love to hear your congratulations.” He placed the microphone back on the stand as the party guests applauded him.

Stepping back, he pressed one hand to Dom’s shoulder, speaking softly to both he and Billy.

“Gentlemen, I have something for you. A wedding gift of sorts. When you’re ready, seek me out.”

"Okay. Thanks, Vig," Dom responded his eyes locked with Billy's. Viggo headed towards a miserable-looking Karl, leaving Dom and Billy alone on the stage.

"Hello, future Mr. Boyd," Billy whispered, his left hand stroking Dom's face.

"Hello, future Mr. Monaghan," Dom said softly, pulling Billy even closer to him. "We did it."

Billy smiled, kissing Dom lightly. "Aye, we did. I feel…I don't know: different. Good different though. Very good."

"I love you, Bills. I'm going to be the best husband in the world." Dom kissed Billy's face, lingering on soft, smooth lips, his hands massaging Billy's butt cheeks gently.

"I love you, too, Dom," Billy whispered against his lips. "Why don't we mingle for a bit, and then leave the party to the others?"

“What say we go find out what Viggo has for us?” Dom whispered against his ear.

“You never can resist the word present can you?” Billy smiled as he folded himself under Dom’s arm not wanting to break contact as they walked towards the house stopping briefly along the way o be congratulated by their friends.

“You wished to see us Viggo?” Dom quirked an eyebrow at him.

“I’ll leave you alone.” Karl spoke leaning in to press a kiss against both men’s cheeks “Congratulations hobbits.” He stated softly.

Turning back to the table behind him Viggo lifted two gift wrapped packages and an envelope, handing them to the happy couple.

“Congratulations gentlemen.” He smiled

Accepting the gifts they opened the envelope together finding two business class tickets to Glasgow for a flight at 9am the following morning. Unwrapping the other packages they found they both had leather-bound journals: Billy’s bound with a thick green band and Dom’s with a blue band.

“They gentlemen are your marriage journals. I want you to complete them religiously. Relate special conversations, special places, things that you did that made you happy, sad, angry. At the wedding and indeed, in years to come, you can read back over them and remember how you felt at that point and know what to do.”

"Thank you, Vigs," Billy said with tears begin to run down his face once again, the journal clutched tightly in his hand. He released Dom long enough to hug Viggo tightly.

"You didn't have to do this, Viggo," Dom told him looking down at the airline tickets. "You've already done so much for us. Thank you." He hugged embraced Viggo, not surprised when Viggo held him a while longer.

"He loves you, Dominic. You see that now. Tell him the truth. For both your sakes," Viggo whispered against Dom's hair. He kissed Dom lightly, giving Billy a cheeky wink.

"Hands off, my fiance, Mr. Mortensen," Billy laughed, pulling Dom towards him. "Pass the word: this one's off the market."

Viggo held up his hands in surrender, laughing along with the couple. "I'm proud of the two of you and very happy for you. Just remember: there's no problem, no obstacle that your love can't overcome."

Both men nodded at him, lost in their own thoughts of how huge their obstacles were in their own minds and what would happen if they couldn’t overcome them.

Emilie shattered the silence of the moment as she entered the room and threw herself into Billy and Dom’s combined embrace.

“I love you two.” She murmured between their heads as she drew them together around her. “If I’m incredibly lucky one day I’ll have a night that is just like this.” Releasing them she lifted a gift that lay under the edge of the sofa. Large and flat it was obviously a photo frame of some description. “I know it’s lame but I didn’t have time to be really creative. This is for you.” She pressed it in Billy’s hands.

Unwrapping it quickly they were surprised to see a montage of pictures that had been taken of them, hundreds of pictures all displayed each one showing the love that they shared.

"Oh, Em," Dom said, his voice filled with emotion. He gathered her into his arms, lifting her inches off the floor.

"This is…it's beautiful," Billy murmured at a loss for words. He slid is finger over the glass, tracing Dom's face in the photos. A tear drop splashed on the photo, and he wiped his eyes shyly. "Thank you."

She looked at him expectantly, her bottom lip pulled nervously between her teeth. Sighing resignedly, Billy held open his arms, the blonde woman rushing into the embrace. She giggled, plastering kisses on his face.

Billy mouthed "help" to Dom, who pulled the over-excited blonde from Billy. "Sorry, Em. This hobbit's taken. Yours is over there," he pointed to Elijah who was currently laughing with Sean.

Emilie's eyes narrowed on the two men, and she flipped her hair, smoothing out her dress. "Excuse me, gentlemen," she said before sashaying over to Elijah.

"Looks like Ms. Emilie thinks she has some competition for Lij's affection," Billy giggled.

“Seriously.” Dom stated quickly “I think we should go save Seanwise, Emi is nothing is not territorial.”

As they approached Emilie insinuated herself under Elijah’s arm reaching up to place a kiss on his cheek in greeting. As he turned his face towards her she cupped his face with one hand and met his lips in a long wet kiss. As they separated, eyes glazed and breathing far from steady, Sean turned to look at Dom and Billy his eyebrows arched in surprise.

“You shouldn’t be greedy Seanwise.” Emilie almost purred from Elijah’s side as she looked at him “Lij is taken.”

“Greedy?” Sean questioned his head tilted in confusion.

“Don’t play dumb with me Mr Astin, I’ve seen the proof. Hands off.” She stated. Elijah watched helplessly as she spoke.

“Sean.” Billy couldn’t help but smile as he spoke. “We’re going out to have some dinner, would you like to join us?”

Sean looked between both couples, obviously torn between staying and working through his confusion and going with the happy couple. Dom put his hand on his shoulder and turned him
“We miss you Seanwise.” Dom spoke, “Come with us.”

Sean nodded and let himself be led towards the large buffet spread.

"What was that about?" Sean asked when they were a safe enough distance away from Emilie and Elijah.

"I warned you, Sean," Billy laughed, patting Sean affectionately on the back.

"Warned me about what? I'm so confused." Sean handed Dom and Billy their plates, his eyes still on the couple in the corner.

"She thinks you're her competition," Dom explained, serving Billy automatically. "If you don't want your hair clawed out, I'd suggest you stand at least two feet away from Lij at all times."

"At least," Billy commented, biting on a piece of pineapple. A trail of juice ran down his chin, and Dom leaned forward to lick it, smiling softly at Billy afterwards.

"I'm married. I've got kids," Sean continued, not batting an eyelash at the private moment that just occurred between the newlyweds. "I don't even like men that way."

"You're Sam. He's Frodo. That's all that matters," Dom stated matter-of-factly.

"Is she on medication? Really. Should we be letting Lij spend time with her?" Sean asked concern lacing his voice.

"Are we talking about Emilie?" Orlando interrupted, coming to the buffet table with David.

“How’d you guess?” Billy quirked a sarcastic eyebrow.

“She’s not so bad, once she gets over who you are.” Orlando shrugged, his comment causing everyone’s heads to swivel towards him in shock. “What?” he frowned, “We reached an understanding while we were dancing. She’s a nice girl, just really, really focused.”

“Focussed is a good word.” David nuzzled the side of Orlando’s face.

“Seriously, I’d keep my distance Seanie.” Orlando kissed Dave softly before he spoke again. “She gave up a dance with me so she could keep tabs on you.” He smiled “And I think she’d be meaner than an Uruk Hai with a migraine if you crossed her.”

His friends laughed and patted his shoulder. "That's exactly the reason why she thinks of you as Enemy Number One," Dom winked. "She's really a lovely girl, and she'll warm up to you…eventually. Just talk about Christine a lot."

Rolling his eyes, Sean sat down, making sure to take a seat facing Elijah and Emilie. He started on his meal, his eyes never leaving the cuddling couple for too long.

"Have you two decided on where you're going to live?" Sean asked turning his attention back to the newlyweds.

Billy shrugged, placing some of his vegetables on Dom's plate. "I guess we'll be living between here and Scotland. I'll try to work my filming around Dom's schedule. We'll figure that out once we're in Scotland."

"You're going to Scotland?" Sean inquired, smiling as the two feed each other pieces of fruit.

"Yeah, it was our wedding gift from Viggo," Dom said, wrapping his arm around Billy's waist. "We're leaving tomorrow morning after a night at the Hilton."

"We're staying at the Hilton?" Billy turned face Dom, his green eyes twinkling.

"It was Daisy and Orli's present to us," Dom told him. The guests at the table focused on their food as the two leaned forward to share a passionate kiss.

“Thank you.” Billy smiled at them across the table. Frowning slightly as he watched Sean watching Elijah and Emilie, who were happily feeding each other from the one plate as they sat at the next table.

“Seanie you should ask her to dance. Do the unexpected, it’ll confuse her.” Billy smirked at him.

“I might just do that.” Sean nodded. “So have you two given any thought to family? Or if you even want family.” At raised eyebrows from David and Orlando he spoke again. “Hey I’ve got kids, I’m just curious okay?”

“Sure we have, we’ve even discussed it haven’t we Dommeh?” Billy murmured.

“But at the moment we’re happy being just us.” Dom spoke looking into Billy’s eyes with a smile.

“I just remembered something Dommeh.” Billy leaned forward to lick Dom’s bottom lip.

“What’s that?”

“It’s after the announcement.” He smiled, his green eyes twinkling as he listened to the music Emilie had chosen start to play through the speakers.

“Indeed it is.” Dom spoke, standing and extending a hand to Billy. “If you’d excuse us gentlemen, I have a date with a sandy dance floor and my husband.”

"Did I miss something?" Sean asked puzzled as Dom and Billy made their way to the make-shift dance floor.

"Nope," Orlando sighed dreamily, leaning back on David's chest. "That's just their way of saying…"

"That they want to shag like bunnies," David finished with a wink.

The backyard fell silent as the two men walked to the middle dance floor, their arms wrapped protectively around the other's waist. They watched as Billy whispered something in Dom's ear, causing the younger man to throw his head back and laugh. They all smiled as Dom stroked Billy's cheek, pulling the Scot towards him for a long kiss.

"Grow old along with me. The best is yet to be," Billy sang softly to Dom. "When our time has come, we will be as one."

Dom swayed gently to the hypnotic sound of Billy's voice, holding the smaller man as close as possible. Billy's hand rubbed his back soothingly, his voice loud enough for only Dom to hear.

"God bless our love," Dom joined, his lips pressed warmly against Billy's temple.

“It would be rude if we were to disappear wouldn’t it?”

“Just a little my love.” Billy murmured against his chest “Our friends have flown half way around the world to be with us.” He paused pressing his lips to the golden skin of Dom’s neck.

“But that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to be buried so deep inside you neither of us know where you begin and I end.” He whispered.

“And that is supposed to make me want to stay here how exactly.” Dom spoke against Billy’s hair his hands moving down to rest on Billy’s buttocks and pull him closer against him.

“I’m not sure.” Billy laughed “but now I don’t want to stay either.” He ground his hips against Dom’s.

“Don’t Bills.” Dom growled “Or I won’t be responsible for my actions.”

"Oooh," Billy teased, his hips continuing their ministrations. "What are you going to do, Dominic? Are you going to take me here in front of all our friends? Maybe give them some pointers?"

"Stop, Billy," Dom groaned. He tried to created some distance been their groins only to have Billy grab his buttocks and pull him back.

"Or were you thinking of spanking me, Dommeh." Billy's accent was thick with arousal as he pressed himself against Dom.

"You bloody tease," Dom hissed in Billy's ear, flicking his tongue out to lick the lobe. "You're not going to be able to sit down for a week for that."

"Is that supposed to make me behave? All it does is give me more incentive to do this," Billy whispered as he snuck his hand between the fold of the sarong and squeezed Dom's hard erection.

Dom moaned pushing back against Billy's hand. "I'm going to pack our suitcases for our trip," he panted in Billy's ear. "Three minutes then I start without you."

He pulled away from Billy and walked uncomfortably towards the house, explaining quickly to those who stopped him that he had to prepare their luggage.

Billy watched him walk, the play of his buttocks under the thin fabric of the sarong and immediately began to follow, completely oblivious to the knowing looks of most of their friends.

He caught up with him at the end of the hall, his hand catching Dom’s arm and spinning him around to face him. Pressing him against the wall, his mouth met Dom’s wetly, his tongue sliding across his lips before they even touched. A heady moan escaping him as he slid his hand down to almost roughly caress Dom’s insistent and very obvious erection.

Letting his lips lift from Dom’s lips for the briefest of moments he spoke, his voice gravelly with passion, his accent thick and almost unintelligible.

“Dommeh, if we don’t make our room in the next minute or so I swear our guests are going to see us fucking against this wall.”

Dom took a deep shuddering breath and pushed Billy away. Grabbing his hand he pulled him down the hallway and opened their bedroom door.

Both men stopped dead in the doorway their jaws dropping in surprise.

Two suitcases stood at the end of the bed, Viggo lay sprawled across the bed, Karl straddling him kissing him hungrily their hips grinding together.

A Cheshire-cat smirk formed on Dom's face as his head nodded in approval. Billy's mouth opened and closed like a fish out water as his brain tried to process Viggo…Karl…together.

As if sensing their presence, Karl lifted his mouth from Viggo's and turned his head towards the door. "Either come in or make sure that the door doesn't hit you on the ass on your way out," he growled before turning his attention back to the man beneath him.

Dom's eyebrow rose as Viggo's hand appeared from out of nowhere and made its way directly into the back of Karl's dress pants. Karl's moan went straight to Dom's groin, and he grabbed Billy's arm, pulling the door closed.

"Come on, Bills," he said dragging the smaller man along. "We'll just use the bathroom."

Billy stopped in the hallway, his eyes switching from Dom's face to their closed bedroom door. "But…but…that's our bed, Dommeh. They're gonna fuck on our bed," he sputtered.

Dom's head nodded vigorously, his smile growing even wider. "I know. It's kinda hot isn't it?" At Billy's horrified expression he added, "Don't worry, we'll change the sheets."

"That's not the point, Dom," Billy whined as Dom continued to pull him towards the bathroom. "That's our bed. Ours. They're about to fuck on our bed."

Dom sighed, pushing Billy into the, thankfully, empty bathroom. "Yes, Bills. They're about to do what we wanted to do: fuck I'll buy you a new mattress, hell, I'll buy you a new bed, if WE can just fuck, too. Please."

“Dommeh,” Billy pulled Dom’s face to his and kissed him wetly. “I’m not. Having. Our. First. Engaged. Fuck. Happen. In. a. bathroom.” He punctuated every word with kisses. “No matter how hard we both are.” He ground their hips together roughly.

“Fuck Bills.” Dom moaned into Billy’s mouth, “We can’t not. Please?” he murmured.

Billy pulled him tight against him and let his hand slide down the front of Dom’s body smiling tightly at the shudder that went through Dom as his fingers slid around Dom’s erection, the soft fabric of the sarong wrapping around it and increasing the pressure of Billy’s fingers.

“we’re not going to fuck until we have a bed Dommeh.” Billy spoke against Dom’s neck as he nipped at the skin he kissed. “I want to take you slowly, savour you as my fiance, feel you fall apart around me, watch you lose control under me, the way your eyes close and you whimper incoherently.” His fingers stroked Dom faster, Dom’s hips arching into Billy’s hand. “I will not bend you over a sink and fuck you so hard and fast your legs won’t hold you up. Watching your face in the mirror begging to be kissed.” He whispered as his hand moved harder and faster, twisting roughly as he stroked him. He leaned up to whisper into Dom’s ear “that’s tomorrow. In the plane.”

That was all that was needed to push Dom over the edge. He came with a low groan, feeling the fabric dampen with his release. He leaned into Billy, the older man's hand still squeezing and stroking, as if trying to get every last drop out.

"I love you, Bills," he murmured, kissing Billy's exposed collar bone.

"I'm beginning to thing you only want me for the sex," Billy joked, reaching to grab some tissue. "Come on, let's clean you up."

Dom rested against the sink as Billy wiped him clean, smiling as his sarong was redone to hide the damp spot. He waited until Billy was finished before pulling him into his arms.

"I don't just want you for sex," he said with a serious tone.

"I know that Dommeh; I was just joking."

"I know, but I need you know that I love you for everything. For being you. I'm sorry if I make you think otherwise."

Billy shook his head and gave Dom a tender kiss. "Silly, git. I know that you love me, and you've told me and shown me why. But let's not negate the fact that we have incredible sex, and I'm happy that you want and desire an old man like me."

"I want you alright," Dom's cheekiness returned as quickly as it had left. He pouted when Billy stepped back away from him. "You haven't…don't you want me to take care of that for you?"

Billy straightened his outfit and walked to the door. "Unlike some people, I have willpower. And I told you, I'm not coming until I'm buried deep inside of you. So, if you'd be so kind as to hurry up so that we can do the required mingling then leave, I'd be most appreciative."

Karl and Viggo, huh? Hmmm....

I was going to say something about Billy's vows, but then my brain short circuited with the Viggo/Karl action and then the bathroom hand job.

"He leaned up to whisper into Dom’s ear “that’s tomorrow. In the plane.”"

That was when everything else went blank in my brain.
