Just as Billy was becoming desperate, a soft knock sounded at the bedroom door. He wasn’t sure whether to be relieved or embarrassed.

“Guys, Viggo has dinner ready whenever you are.” Lij’s voice spoke softly.

Dammit it had to be Elijah didn’t it. Billy cussed against Dom’s hair.

“Lij” Billy called “Can you come in here for a moment?”

“What for?” Elijah immediately sounded suspicious.

“I need you for a minute Lij.” He called again watching the door handle turning. “You might like to close your eyes or look at the ceiling.”

“I’m not fucking coming in there.” Lij’s voice raised in pitch.

”Seriously Lij I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.” Billy wheedled.

The door opened and Lij slipped in through the gap, his eyes concentrating on the ceiling.

“Thanks Lij.” Billy almost sighed “Can you untie me please?”

“Untie you?” Lij forgot he didn’t want to look and glanced at the bed. Seeing Dom’s naked ass, his body nestled between Billy’s naked legs was too much for him. “Jeezus you two owe me. Just when I think you can’t traumatize me anymore you fuck me up that little bit more.”

"Sorry, Lij. We'll make sure to send you to the best psychiatric hospital that money can buy," Billy apologized, Dom's dead weight starting to make his body numb. "Just please untie me. I'm losing feeling in my hands."

Although Elijah didn't want to look, his eyes were drawn to the figures on the large, unmade bed. Dom's head resting gently on Billy's shoulder, his tanned body completely covering Billy's smaller frame. One of Billy's legs was wrapped around Dom's waist, the other lay flat on the bed. From his position, Elijah could see that...he groaned softly.

Billy was still inside of Dom.

"Lij? Lij!" Billy called out to the boy who had been staring at them for the past few minutes. Elijah blinked and shook his head, a slight blush forming on his face.

"I should just leave you here to suffer," he told Billy, climbing on the bed as he began to unknot the first binding. "This will serve you kinky bastards right."

He watched as Billy shook his free arm, trying to get the blood flowing back properly in it, and then rolled his eyes as that same arm wrapped lovingly around Dom, gentle touches caressing the sleeping man's cheek.

"Could you get the other one for me?" whispered Billy, his eyes never leaving Dom's face.

"I'm going to need so much therapy after this trip," Elijah grumbled leaning over the two men to reach Billy's bound arm. He was working on the tight knot when a breath of warm air caused him to freeze and gasp.

"Billybillybilly...mmmmm," Dom muttered, nuzzling his face in the jean-clad crotch over him.

“Holy Fuck.” Lij growled “Can’t you control him?” he hissed at Billy.

“Sorry Lij, he’s got a mind of his own when he’s sleeping.” Billy apologised, his cheeks crimson.

Dom’s nuzzling intensified, obviously caught up in his own erotic dreamland, he opened his mouth and nipped at the fly placket of Elijah’s jeans.

Elijah, finding himself hardening and mortified by the whole situation, climbed clumsily off the bed more interested in distance than grace. “Sorry bills, you’ll have to find your own way out.” He gesticulated wildly at the prone sleeping figure that was slowly humping against his boyfriend. “That fucker just bit my….my….” he paused lost for words “Dammit all, you know exactly what I’m saying.”

“Indeed I do.” Billy smiled back suppressing a very manly giggle. “He likes to do that, and I see you find it as much of a turn on as I do”

"You're both sick! The both of you...you deserve each other!" Elijah exclaimed, almost running out of the room. Billy snorted, wondering how much damage they had caused their Ringbearer so far.

"Come on, Dommeh." Billy resumed the task of waking Dom, though he could feel that certain parts of his lover, one in particular, were fully awake. "Wakey, wakey, Dominic. Get OFF!"

"Mhmmm, want you so bad, Billy," Dom muttered still asleep. While part of Billy was happy that it was him that his lover dreamt of, another part, a much bigger, number part just wanted him off.

"Ow!" Dom screamed, his arm reaching to rub his waist. "The fuck you pinch me for?"

“Lets see, because you fell asleep. Lij is now traumatized because he had to untie me.” He leaned up to kiss him to soften his words, sighing at the sensations Dom movements were causing was making him rapidly forget his temporary anger.

“I’m sorry.” Dom smiled cheekily, he leaned down and kissed Billy long and lingeringly. “Lij is traumatized?” he whispered against Billy’s mouth.

“You have NO idea.” Billy rolled his eyes as he answered, moving to capture Dom’s mouth again.

“We’ll make it up to him.” Dom shrugged. “Later.”

“Much later.” Billy sighed into Dom’s mouth.

Nearly forty-five minutes later, the two walked into the kitchen hand in hand, the smiles on both their faces leaving no doubt to the reason for their tardiness. Both ducked their heads and apologized to Viggo, sliding into their seats.

"Dinner was called almost an hour ago, gentlemen," Viggo said sternly, a wink softening the tone of his voice.

"Sorry, Vig. Billy was tied up," Dom giggled, earning him a soft slap at the back of his head.

"Lij could you pass the salad dressing, please?" David asked. The younger man had been staring at Dom and Billy with intent, though the expression on his face remained blank.

"Hey! Earth to Elijah," Orlando said, leaning over David to poke the blue-eyed boy in the arm.

"Huh? Sorry, what?" Elijah blinked as if coming out of a dream and turned to face Orlando.

“The salad dressing, Elijah. Could you pass it please?” David repeated, glancing from Elijah back to Dom.

Elijah passed the salad dressing to David, narrowly missing spilling it into David’s lap, his wide eyes attention firmly on Dom and Billy.

“Something vexes you Elijah?” Viggo asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Elijah!!” David spoke sharply, then nodded towards Viggo. “The king is speaking to you.” He gestured.

“Huh? I’m sorry Vig, you wanted something?” he reluctantly drew his attention from Billy’s knowing green gaze to glance at their King.

“What’s wrong Elijah?” he asked truly concerned.

At his continued silence Billy cleared his throat “I think I know the problem. He saw us naked and Dom bit his crotch.”

"He did WHAT?" exclaimed two voices, a pair of deep brown eyes, and a pair of sparkling blue orbs moving between Dom and Elijah.

"I did WHAT?" exclaimed one voice, blue-grey eyes moving between Billy and Elijah.

Hazel eyes watched over the table calmly, a regal eyebrow rose in amusement.

"Somebody shoot me now," Elijah groaned dropping his head in his hands.

Billy pierced a small cherry tomato with his fork, and popped it into his mouth with a smile. He spoke nonchalantly as if he were speaking about the weather or some other banal topic. "Lij came to untie me, one thing led to another, and then Dom bit his crotch. Not before nuzzling it first though; my baby always shows a little bit of affection, don't you Dommeh?" Billy turned and patted Dom's head, his last words cooed as if speaking to a child.

"Untie you?" Orlando choked on his drink, David rubbing his back gently.

"Why did I bite Elijah's crotch?" Dom asked, looking between his boyfriend and friend with a confused expression on his face. "Where the hell was your crotch?"

“My crotch was otherwise occupied.” Billy blushed deeply his gaze finding Elijah’s across the table.

”for fucks sake can we not talk about this right now?” Elijah muttered burying his face in his hands “I’m sure no one needs to hear about you being shoved up Dom’s ass over dinner.” He muttered under his breath. However, the rapt attention of the entire room ensured that it was silent enough to hear a pin drop, consequently, everyone heard him.

“No, No, No.” Dom shook his head frowning “I wanna talk about me biting your crotch now. Why the hell was your crotch near my mouth?”

David and Orlando’s eyes flicked between the three of them following the conversation like they were at a Wimbledon Centre Court final.

“He was untying me, Dom, I’ve already told you.” He smiled at his lover “And it’s simple you were dreaming about it and then you bit it.”

"Oh," Dom said, accepting the explanation. He bit into his salad, chewing thoughtfully, before speaking again.

"Did he like it?" Although his question was directed at Billy, Dom's eyes were focused on Elijah.

Time stood still in the quiet kitchen as four pairs of eyes turned towards Elijah. The youngest man lifted his head from his hands, his big blue eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

He stared at Dom unbelievably, his mouth hanging open, before dropping his head on the table and covering it with his arms.

"Just kill me. Please, just put me out of my misery," his pleas the only sound other than the hum of the refrigerator.

"Well? Did he?" Dom asked again.

"Fuck off!" came a muffled reply causing a snort of laughter from most at the table.

"I'll take that as a yes," Dom said proudly, a big grin on his face.

“You do know that if I ever find his crotch in your mouth again, you are in so much trouble Mr Monaghan.” Billy reprimanded him.

Viggo watched the exchange with interest, he saw Billy’s humor outweigh his embarrassment, he saw Elijah’s abject mortification and likewise he couldn’t help but notice David and Orlando’s free hands slipping under the table and their chairs sliding closer together. Clearing his throat he spoke softly.

“Gentlemen, I believe we have had a discussion on several occasions regarding the deliberate tormenting of the Ringbearer have we not?” He slid his gaze between Dom and Billy before turning his attention to Elijah “Ringbearer I think that you and I need to talk after dinner.”

"But I didn't..." Elijah started, raising his head to look at Viggo, before groaning and lowering his head.

Dinner continued silently under the watchful eye of their king. He watched as Dom and Billy shared a private joke, the two of them stopping short of feeding each other. Dave and Orlando were attempting to look innocent, their eyes focused on their food, somehow managing to eat with only one hand.

All appeared to be fine, until Elijah yelped, jumping up from the table, his chair falling to the ground.

"What the hell is the matter with you people?" he yelled, eyes staring pointedly in Orlando's direction.

The amber-haired man blushed, cheeks turning a crimson red. "Sorry, Lij," he mumbled. "Over stretched my arm."

“Elijah.” Viggo spoke sternly but calmly “Sit down. Finish your dinner.” He glared at his other four companions. “I’m sure this topic has run its course aren’t you?”

Taking a deep calming breath, Billy spoke “How did you go with Dom’s cast mates Lij?” he asked

“Emilie is coming shopping with me tomorrow.” He shrugged “She’s going to get the rest the cast that aren’t filming together for the BBQ.”

“Watch her Lij.” Dom spoke with a grin “she’s about this far.” He held his fingers in a pinch motion “from being a rabid, squealing Rings fangirl.” He laughed.

"Emilie?" Billy asked incredulously. "I don't believe it. She seems so...so..."

"Sane?" David offered with a wry smile. He had the most convention experience out of the group and had dealt with his fair share of crazed, slightly-obsessed fans.

"Yup," Dom said, chewing on a piece of roasted potatoes. "If you don't want your ear drums to burst, I'd keep Orli as far away from Viggo tomorrow night as you can."

"Why's that?" Orlando asked.

Dom swallowed what was in his mouth and shrugged. "I'm not too sure, it's all very confusing. But something about Aragorn and Legolas and the "o" "v" in love. I just remember not being able to follow the conversation over the squealing."

“See now I don’t get that.” Orli spoke up “I cannot see anything other than mates.”

“I think that’s the problem, only they don’t see mates in quite the same way.” Dom shrugged.

“Emi just about peed her pants, when she found out how I feel about Billy.” He laughed remembering the day in his trailer she’d been grilling him about rings and he had confessed. “And for fuck’s sake don’t ever introduce her to Seanwise while Lij is around. Frodo and Sam are her OTP.”

"Her otp?" Elijah asked, his forehead creasing in confusion.

"No, not otp. O. T. P.," Dom corrected. "It means the one true pairing." He stopped and saw the puzzled expression on his friends' faces. He sighed, shaking his head sadly at their lack of knowledge. "Don't you people read? Geez. The One True Pairing, something akin to the One Ring. The one couple to rule them all."

A resounding sound of understanding was heard through the kitchen.

"Needless to say that Mr. Boyd and I are many a fan's OTP," he gloated throwing his arm around Billy's shoulder and pressing a small kiss to his temple.

Elijah groaned and rolled his eyes.

"We've even got our own nickname: Monaboyd. There are tons more, but you'd have to ask Emilie. I only retained the important information," he said, batting his eyelashes at Billy.

“From what I’ve encountered.” David spoke “This pair” he gestured across the table “Are highly sought after in the LOTR Fandom as a pairing, to quote a young lady who enquired after them to me at a recent Con ‘They so totally slash themselves it’s not our fault.”” He intoned even replicating a high pitched feminine voice.

“Slash?” Viggo asked with a frown.

“Geez, king keep up.” Orli laughed “Even I know that one.” He paused and continued at Viggo’s quizzical look “They pair us off and have us shagging like bunnies. I wish I had half the stamina my slash persona has.”

“You read it?” Dom’s eyebrows shot up as they all looked at Orlando.

“What?” he feigned innocence “I can’t help it, Beanie handed me a box filled with reams of the stuff while we were filming Troy.”

"And?" Curious eyes turned to look at the curly-haired man.

"And...well, it was kinda hot," he admitted blushing slightly. He turned worryingly to gaze at find the other man with an amused expression on his face. "But what can you expect, they paired Beanie and I up, and well, we're hot."

"You and Beanie!" Elijah gasped, his eyes bulging out. All attention focused on the Elf, no one catching the slight frown that graced their King's face.

"Yup, me and you, as well," he told Elijah with a wink. The younger man balked, looking slightly taken back at the revelation. "Don't worry, it was hot."

"And of course, there were plenty of Dom and Billy. I guess life imitates fan fic, because the two of them barely came up for air in most of the stories I read."

“We are good Bills.” Dom puffed his chest “I told you so.”

“I know that numptie.” Billy smiled affectionately.

“So is there a lot of this stuff out there?” Viggo asked quietly.

“Shitloads.” David answered. “There’s a section within the fandom for just about any of the actors. Craig showed me something with me and him at one of the conventions but I never paid much attention.”

“The world works in mysterious ways.” Viggo spoke his voice suddenly weary as he stood and took his dishes to the sink. “If you gentlemen don’t need me I’m going for a walk.” He stated and walked out of the kitchen.

"Good going, Lij," Dom grumbled throwing a piece of broccoli at Elijah.

"What the hell did I do?" Elijah asked, ducking his head from the flying vegetable.

"I dunno," shrugged Dom. "But I figure, if our King is melancholy, you're somehow to blame." He gave Elijah a huge grin.

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, Dom you git," Elijah said rolling his large blue eyes. The two began to argue, leaving the other three men to quietly think as to the reason for Viggo's sudden departure.

"When was the last time you spoke to Beanie?" Billy asked David quietly.

"It's been a few weeks, maybe a month," David responded, looking at Billy curiously. "Why?"

The Scot shook his head, thoughts flying around in his head. "Just thinking. Do you know when he and Vig last saw each other?"

“Maybe a month before that Beanie said Viggo flew over to visit for a weekend.” David frowned “I can’t remember exactly when though.”

“He spoke to him on the phone just after Dom’s accident.” Orli supplied “When we were ringing around the fellowship he volunteered to call beanie.”

“Fess up.” David spoke softly “What’s your theory?”

“Not sure yet.” Billy shrugged as he stood and placed a soft kiss on Dom’s head before walking towards the door. “I’m gonna go and find our king, see if he’d like to talk.”

Billy walked from the kitchen and into the yard, walking down onto the beach it didn’t take him long to find Viggo. Standing at the water’s edge water washing across his toes with every wave, the bottom of his jeans wet and sand encrusted.

“Why haven’t you said anything Vig?” he spoke softly.

The Dane's shoulders hunched, his eyes still on the in-coming tide. Billy stood beside him, their sides and shoulders touching.

"You should have told us, Vig," he said again. He turned his head slightly to look at his King, the man that had been a father figure to the hobbits and an elf for the past six years.

"Told you what, William?" Viggo asked with a prolonged sigh. He rubbed his face wearily, looking as if he had aged a ten years in the past ten minutes

"About you and Beanie," Billy whispered. "Orli wouldn't have brought up the stories if he had known, if you had told us."

"There's nothing between Sean and I; I'm not sure what you're implying."

"Maybe that's the problem then?" Billy asked, his eyebrow rising slightly.

“There is no problem William.” Viggo replied.

“Don’t lie to me Vig.” Billy sighed “I’ve never seen it before because I’ve always been wallowing in my own misery. Don’t do what I’ve done Viggo. It’s written all over you. If you don’t love him you’re damn close. And don’t argue with me I’ve been there, I know, it hurts and its miserable and it never stops.”

“Billy you don’t understand.” He exhaled slowly

“No I couldn’t possibly understand could I.” Billy shrugged “I haven’t spent the last six years lusting over my best friend, pretending everything was all good and crying myself to sleep some nights. No. No. That wasn’t me so I couldn’t possibly understand.”

“Sean is the straightest man I know, if I were to tell him this I’d lose him even as a friend.”

“And if you don’t?” Billy wrapped an arm around his waist “I don’t want you to have my last six years Vig; you’ve been my rock since Rings, if I can’t do anything else let me be yours?”

Viggo hugged the smaller man, resting his chin on his companion's head. "When did you get so smart?"

"I had a very good teacher," Billy smiled, squeezing Viggo tighter. "You need to talk to him, Vig. If he is straight, then fine, you guys will have a drink and get on. But, there's nothing worse than not saying anything, and realizing afterwards how much you've wasted."

"Once Dom gets better and everything has calmed down, I'll talk to him," Viggo agreed.

"You've never lied to me before, Vigs, so I'm going to hold you to that." Billy pressed a kiss on Viggo's heart and pulled out of the hug, twisting his hands nervously. "Speaking of Dom, there's something that I need to tell you."

Viggo cocked his head, looking at Billy inquisitively.

"Dom...Dom and I...," Billy stumbled over his words, not sure what Viggo's reaction would be. Taking a deep breath, he rushed through his statement:

"Dom asked me to marry him, and I said yes. We're going to have an engagement announcement tomorrow, and we'd like you officiate it, please."

“Billy I don’t think that is a very good idea.” Viggo started to speak.

“We knew you’d say that.” Billy nodded. “We had a long talk this afternoon. We both know that there are things that we don’t know; frankly there are things that terrify me. But we also both know that we love each other. Nothing is going to change that. Whether we fight or feel deceived or just plain don’t like each other, we will always love each other. We want to do this Vig. It’s a tangible thing for us. Something that even when there are bad times that binds us together, gives us that one further bond to pull us together.” He sighed “Viggo, I love him more than I could ever enunciate, and I need him with me more than I need air. I want to show the world, or at least our friends, that we are committed to each other, to let everyone see just how perfect we are together. It wouldn’t be the same if my King and confident weren’t the one to officiate.”

“It’s that important to you is it?” Viggo’s brow creased in thought.

“Definitely.” Billy nodded

“Tell me has Dominic remembered anything else?”

"Not anything new since yesterday, no," Billy admitted with a shake of his head.

"Don't you think that it would be best for the two of you to wait until his memory returns? I know you love him, but I'm just not seeing why the two of you are in such a rush to do this? This won't even be legal. Wouldn't the two of you rather wait, until you can plan a real ceremony?"

"Why do we need to wait, Vig? You're the one who keeps on telling me that Dom getting his memory back won't change anything. We love each other. That's the one constant in both of lives. That's our only constant. We know it's not legal, but we'll be surrounded by our friends and family, people who love us and care about us, and that's the only thing that matters to us. Please, Viggo. Can you do this for us?

“I just think you should wait until things are stable, and you have no secrets between you.” Viggo stated.

“I know I’m deceiving him by letting him think we have been a couple for so long, but I have never and will never lie to him about my feelings for him. He knows that. And I believe him when he tells me he loves me Viggo. We have so much more than so many people ever get Vig. I don’t care that he can’t remember the little things. I know all I need to know, he loves me and I love him. Later on we can have a real legal ceremony in a country that allows it, but right now, right here before we go to Scotland we want to do this.”

“Then I would be honoured to officiate. I won’t be pleased because I think you should wait, but I will do this for you because it is important to you.”

"Thank you, Viggo," Billy said throwing his arms around the other man. "It's important to the both of us, he wants this just as much as I do. Dom's going to be so relieved; I told him that he had nothing to worry about."

"What do you mean?"

"He was worried that you'd be disappointed in him. He kept saying that you asked him to do something and that he was doing the opposite. We got a bit distracted before I could ask him to elaborate," Billy said, glad that the darkness would hide his blush. "Could you tell him that you'll officiate? It'll mean so much to hear it from you."

Viggo made a non-committal sound and was about to refuse when he caught Billy's eyes. The green orbs were dancing, full of love and joy and hope, something that he hadn't seen in the younger man in years. "Alright, I'll tell him. It will give us an opportunity to have a talk." Viggo turned and began walking towards the house, Billy still beside him. "Now, do you have any thoughts on the announcement? Special promises, or anything special you'd like me to say?"

“I hadn’t even thought that far ahead. I didn’t really have any plans for what I should say.” Billy turned back towards him a huge smile across his face. “Although there is a song that I would like to sing for him.”

“I think a song would be perfect.” Viggo nodded “You know how much he loves your voice. And you do have quite a flare for song choice.”

“I’m not sure if Dom has any plans but you can ask him when you chat.” Billy murmured his mind filling with plans. “I’ll need to dry clean my black kilt tomorrow; I know how much he loves that kilt.”

“Maybe you should both wear traditional island garb?” Viggo suggested “That way it will be less uncomfortable for you in that heavy woollen kilt and he’ll still get to feed his Billy Bare Knee Fetish.”

"He's got a bare knee fetish?" asked Billy with a small laugh.

"Only if it's your bare knee. You really don't think that he asked you to wear your kilts because he was interested in your Scottish heritage, do you?"

Billy smiled remembering how Dom had relentlessly teased him about wearing a skirt the first time he mentioned his kilt. Oddly, Dom had never called the kilt a skirt again, and would often encourage Billy to wear it.

"Wearing something traditional is actually a great idea. Dom loves this place, and it would be great way to pay homage to the island."

“If you trust me I would be honoured to find the appropriate garb for you both to wear.” Viggo offered

“I would love it if you would.” Billy smiled. “I want this to be a perfect memory for him Viggo; he has so few of them at the moment.”

“Oh I’m sure he’s coping adequately.” Viggo replied quickly.

“I know he’s coping.” Billy spoke “I’d just like him to remember so we can get on with a real life together. I know we’ll have rough times when he does remember but I’m not afraid anymore, I know that we are meant to be together.”

"That you are," Viggo said squeezing Billy's hand. "Though I'm not happy about the timing of this announcement, I only want the best for you, both of you."

"We know that, Vig, and this is for the best. It's a fresh start for both of us. We can start concentrating on getting Dom's memory back and planning our future together." Billy's face broke into a grin as he noticed Dom making his way towards them. He could see Orlando and David sitting on the swing, Orlando's head resting on David's shoulder. "Plus it'll prove to him how much I love him. That me playing his boyfriend at the hospital wasn't something I did out of sympathy."

"Hey," Dom greeted, grabbing onto Billy's hand and kissing his knuckles. "Hey, Vig."

"Dominic. I'm glad you're here, I think the two of us need to have a talk."

Dom swallowed and nodded. He knew Billy would have told Viggo about the ceremony and had spent the past half-an-hour preparing himself for Viggo's lecture.

"I'm going to find Doodle. I think I may owe him an apology or money for therapy." Billy squeezed Dom's hand and kissed him on the cheek, whispering in his ear, "You'll be fine. I love you." Another brief kiss on the lips and he ran towards the house, leaving Dom staring at his sandaled feet, and Viggo staring at Dom.

Viggo waited until Billy was inside the house and sat down next to Dom.

“It isn’t fair what you’re doing to him.” He stated softly.

“I know.” Dom answered with a nod.

“Then for God’s sake tell him.” Viggo replied.

“I can’t.” Dom shook his head. “Don’t you think I tried?” He murmured “So many times I’ve tried I just can’t do that to him. I know that the minute I tell him I remember he’s going to crawl back into that shell he hides in. I can’t lose him like that Viggo.” He let his fingers trail through the sand. “As soon as we get to Scotland I’ll tell him, when we’re alone.

“I swear on all that is holy Dominic, if you hurt that man, you will lose him, I promise you that.”

"I'm not going to hurt him, Viggo. I swear..." Dom's words were cut off by the feeling of Viggo's hand on his chin, turning his head to face him.

"Look at me, Dominic." The tone of the Dane's voice startled Dom, and he looked nervously into the older man's eyes. "If I get so much as an email, a telephone call, anything that would lead me to believe that Billy is unhappy or has been hurt in anyway, consider your relationship with him over."

Dom nodded soundlessly, the look on Viggo's face indicating that he was more than one hundred percent serious.

"Now, Billy tells me that the two of you are planning on having a engagement announcement." The sudden change in topic and tone of Viggo's voice made Dom blink, and stare at Viggo for a minute before responding.

“We are.” Dom swallowed his fear. “Billy has obviously asked you, he wants you to officiate. I’m not even sure what happens but I wanted to prove to him that I really do mean it. I love him more than life Viggo I need him by my side, I couldn’t think of any other way to prove it to him.”

“I would have thought telling him you have your memory would be more than adequate.” Viggo stated.

“I want to sing him a song but I can’t sing for shite and he’s got the voice of an angel, so I don’t know what I can do.” He trailed off

“I’m finding traditional clothing for you to wear.” Viggo nodded, “I’m sure I’ll be able to help you with your vows or a song.” He pulled himself to his feet brushing the sand off his jeans.

“I meant it, Dominic; you will lose him if you’re not careful. That is no idle threat.”

"I understand," Dominic said with a sigh. "I won't hurt him. I'd rather die before I let anything happen to him. I'm going to spend the rest of my life proving to him how much I love him."

"I'm going to hold you to your word."

"Actually, Vig. Since you're going into town tomorrow, there is something you could do for me," said Dom, looking up at Viggo. "Would you mind picking up something for me? Well, it's for Billy. His ring."

"Shouldn't you be the one to pick out his ring?" Viggo questioned.

"I've already picked it out. I mean, I know exactly which ring I want for him, and I'll give the owner of the store a call tomorrow morning, and tell him that you'll pick it up."

Viggo looked at him closely. “You really did mean to do this at some stage didn’t you?” he asked.

“Of course I did.” Dom looked into his face. “Do you know how often I’ve imagined living with him in the whole happily ever after scenario?”

“Then you should tell him, he’ll realize that you aren’t deliberately deceiving him, and he’ll understand. Don’t be afraid of telling him Dom. He loves you and wants to be with you forever.”

“Until he realizes that I tricked him into sleeping with me, until he knows that I knew before the first time we made love that we weren’t a couple to begin with. Yeah, I can really see how that’s going to go so well.”

"He'll understand if you tell him. The longer you put this off, Dom, the more lies you'll have to make up to keep your charade going."

"I'll tell him. Once we get the ceremony over with and we're in Scotland. I'll tell him the truth then." Dom gave Viggo an unconvincing smile, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "So will you pick up the ring for me?"

"Of course I will." Saying good night, Viggo left Dom sitting on the beach and walked back to the house. He passed David and Orlando, who were too busy kissing to acknowledge his greeting, and stepped into the cozy kitchen where Billy and Elijah sat.

"Hobbit, your love is on the beach. Ringbearer, I think it's time we have a chat, don't you?"

I love this story! Poor Lij, "I'm going to need so much therapy after this trip,", hey at least if you have to be driven crazy there's no better way to go.

Oh and Dom needs to tell Billy like NOW! It's making me so nervous!

Omg the talk at the dinner table was hilarious! Remind me not to eat breakfast while reding this story. Oh and I've had that kind of conversation at the dinner table, so I know that you did that just right.**still laughing**

Glad for the twist with Dom remembering...the whole thing with Billy and him without his memory was beginning to smack a bit of rape for me. And on that note, stupid Dom for letting Billy feel this way. Men.

OMG A RING. OMG A CEREMONY. OMG SCOTLAND. OMG HE WAS TIED UP LAST CHAPTER.

Hehe. Sorry about that. And we really do speak a different language don't we. I love that scene about all the slashy terms we use!

Just wanted you to know that I'm still paying attention and I still love it (now that I've caught up after exams are FINALLY OVER). Poor Elijah, wouldn't want to be him in that situation. Wait a minute... that was a lie.

“You do know that if I ever find his crotch in your mouth again, you are in so much trouble Mr Monaghan.” Billy reprimanded him.

that whole little passage was just laugh out loud funny! poor elijah!!

“Ringbearer I think that you and I need to talk after dinner.”

"But I didn't..." Elijah started, raising his head to look at Viggo, before groaning and lowering his head.

*snicker* poor elijah, indeed! no one says no to the king.

“Watch her Lij.” Dom spoke with a grin “she’s about this far.” He held his fingers in a pinch motion “from being a rabid, squealing Rings fangirl.” He laughed.

oh noes!!!! the horror! actually, every bity bit of the dinner table conversation just cracked me up. especially dom explaining the "o" and "v". omg. :thud: priceless stuff! *giggle*

i'm glad Viggo took Dom and Billy's news about the engagement as well as he did. you know, he could settle this whole mess in about 5 minutes. tie them both up, sit their chairs back to back, and tell them the truth. Then just not let them go until they admit they're still in love. He's the King. He can be patient. I'd totally put my money on him being able to out wait them.

there are so many things about this story that i'm really enjoying, like the humor and totally hawt sex, but i'm not sure if i can understand just how both Dom and Billy could be so sure the other would suddenly hate them if they found out the truth. i know for the purposes of the story, dom can't talk about regaining his memory right away, but there's been a lot of build up, especially by Viggo this last chapter, about "you'll lose him if you hurt him", that seemed a little not in keeping with the rest of the plot line. here Billy's gone on and on about how he can't live without Dom, that he needs him more then air, that he'd rather live a lie then not have him at all, and there's a possibility that he's gonna walk away just because he finds out dom remembers everything, and still wants to be his life partner? that doesn't mesh for me, but that little confusion aside, this is a thoroughly entertaining story, and i'm always excited to see a new chapter up.

Poor Lij, but his reactions are priceless. The Fellowship's discussion about slash was very funny too. I've often wondered if they actually talk about the phenomenon or even read some of this stuff just for shits and grins.

On a more serious note, I'm going to reach inside this story and throttle Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan if he doesn't come clean with Billy soon! (and I thought my name sounded Catholic!:))

Poor scarred Lij! He really will need therapy! Personally, I would be turned on too if Dom bit at my crotch. I should be so lucky, right? Although, right ow, I'm ready to knock the boy out for not just growing a pair and telling Billy. Viggo is trying to tell him what he needs to do, but he's not listening. Viggo's always right. I mean, my heart goes out to Dom because he is so insecure that he can't believe that Billy loves him. It's sad, but he's too afraid to take a chance at having true happiness.

The beginning was brills, with Lij having to untie Billy... Hahahahahaha...

And then it got darker... Damn it, Dom, tell Billy... You are only going to make everything worse the longer you wait :(
