Viggo moved into the kitchen soundlessly, watching the two men with rapt attention. He watched as Dom's eyes opened slowly, searching Billy's face. Dom's gaze shifted up momentarily, locking with Viggo's.

"N...no, I'm fine," Dom stuttered, looking down at Billy. He lifted a shaky hand to Billy's face, rubbing his cheek. "It...I lost it. I don't remember what I was trying to remember."

Billy looked at Dom, unsure of whether or not to believe him. He was about to question him again when Dom pulled him into a tight hug, burying his face in the crook of his neck.

"I love you, Billy," came a muffled voice. "I love you more than anything else in the world."

"I love you, too, Dommeh." Billy held the man in his arms tighter. "It'll come back; you're already remembering little things."

Dom kissed Billy's neck before pulling the Scot's lips to his. The kiss was desperate and needy, and Billy sank into it willingly. Pulling away, Dom gave a small smile, avoiding direct eye contact with Viggo, who had yet to make his presence known to Billy.

Billy wrapped his arms around Dom’s waist and snuggled into his warm chest, his hands stroking Dom’s back comfortingly.

“Why don’t you two go sit down, and Ringbearer and I will finish off here..” he lifted one hand to stroke the back of his fingers down Dom’s cheek “Some memory is better than none at all isn’t it.”

Dom never spoke just nodded as he clung to Billy, his lips caressing the top of Billy’s head with every breath, tears in his eyes.

Billy pulled out of Dom’s embrace and led him from the kitchen out to the Lanai, where he pulled him back into his embrace.

“Dommeh.” He murmured leaning in to kiss him deeply. “Don’t be afraid to tell me baby, if you remember anything, good or bad, I want to help you.”

Dom pulled back from the kiss, hands framing Billy's face. He stared long and hard in the emerald-green eyes, seeing nothing but complete and utter devotion.

"You really love me, don't you?" He said out loud, more of a statement than a question.

"Of course I love you, Dommie." Billy's face creased with worry, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. He brought Dom's hands to his lips, kissing them softly. "Please tell me what's wrong, Dommeh. I want to help you."

"It was nothing. I don't remember," Dom shrugged. "I'm just a bit nervous about my appointment. I'm sorry for worrying you."

Billy watched him for long minutes, knowing that to push his stubborn Dom would not help at all, he could almost see tiny pieces of his Dom falling back into place every day, tiny little fragments of the man he had fallen in love with were reappearing all the time.

“Then” Billy spoke softly his voice calmer than his nerves were. “Let’s go back inside and have breakfast and get this appointment over with.”

“Sounds good to me.” Dom nodded, pulling Billy back to him for a kiss.

Billy frowned as Dom’s lips slid across his. Something was different about this kiss, Dom’s fingers seemed to be tracing every inch of his back and then his face, his own hands moved to skim across Dom’s arms and chest. Dom’s hands trailed down his back, long elegant fingers kneading his buttocks, pulling him closer, their hips grinding into each other wantonly.
Dom’s mouth lifted from Billy’s and he pulled their bodies tightly together, his arms clinging tightly to the smaller man.

“I love you Bills, more than anything, you know that don’t you?”

"I do," Billy answered, kissing the younger man tenderly. His arms looped around Dom's neck and pressed their bodies as close as possible, deepening the kiss and pouring every bit of love that he had into it. He could feel a change in Dom that he was not quite sure what to make of and its origins frightened him.

"We should get going; I don't want you to be late," he said after a few minutes of holding Dom in his arms. He pressed another kiss to Dom's swollen lips before leading him inside.

Viggo and Elijah stood at the stove chatting quietly, while a morose-looking Elf sat at the table. Orlando looked up as the two men entered, giving a small smile.

"Everything okay?" he asked, twirling his finger around a brown curl.

Viggo turned around at the question, staring intently at Dom. The young man caught his eyes and ducked his head immediately. "I'm fine, Orli. Just nerves."

Breakfast was eaten in silence, Billy ensuring Dom ate enough, Viggo chatting amiably when the silence became too much.

The whole entourage left soon after breakfast, and after depositing Billy and Dom at the hospital in plenty of time for Dom's appointment, the other three continued on to the airport.

"Why?" Elijah quirked a brow as he watched Viggo skilfully handle the driving.

"We have a friend coming in for a visit." Viggo stated. "Daisy is going to spend some time here."

"Since when?" Orlando sat up in his seat.

"He was supposed to come and stay with me in Idaho for a while," Viggo said, looking at Orlando from the corner of his eyes. "I mentioned that to you yesterday. Since I'm going to be here for a while, I thought it would be nice if he joined us."

Orlando didn't respond, choosing instead to stare at the passing Hawaiian landscape. He wasn't sure why his heart rate had suddenly sped up, or why his palms were now sweaty. It was just Daisy. Daisy with that full bottom lip that begged to be nibbled on, and those blue eyes that pulled you in, and that red hair that he could imagine grasping as David's sweat-slicked body moved up and...

"Everything alright, Elf prince?" Viggo asked turning his head to the side as Orlando shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

“I’m fine.” Orli spoke softly “It’ll be fun hanging with someone that’s not a hobbit.” He laughed at the expression on Lij’s face.

“You lot just don’t realize how good things in small packages are.” Elijah stated adamantly and tilted his head up to look out the window in apparent disgust.

“But sometimes things in similar sized packages are much better.” Orlando answered, his mind remembering the last time he had seen Daisy. They had been at a convention and the affectionate Aussie had thrown his arms around him and hugged him tightly before placing a chaste manly kiss on his then lightly bearded cheek, all the while raving about his performance in Ned Kelly.

"Who says that he's coming to hang out with you, anyways?" Elijah grumbled kicking the back of Orlando's seat. "He was probably hesitating about coming until he heard that I was here."

The car filled with laughter as Viggo turned into the airport parking lot. "Actually, I'm hoping that he'll spend time with Elf-boy over here," Viggo said looking at Elijah through the rear-view mirror. "It'll give you and me some time to...talk."

Elijah's shoulders slumped and his head lowered resignedly. He stepped out of the car, trailing Viggo and Orlando into the airport. David's plane had yet to arrive and the three waited in a secluded corner in the lounge.

"It's good that Daisy's coming," Elijah said out-of-blue. "I, uh, I have a meeting in L.A. that I have to attend. I'll probably be leaving in a day or two."

When the arrival of his flight was announced, Orli rolled fluidly to his feet, pulling his baseball cap low his eyes scanned the people starting to wander slowly through the gate. He moved away from his companions to a position that afforded him a better view of the arrivals.

‘That would be why, master ringbearer, I asked that you not toy with his affections, our elf prince is confused enough.’

“Confused?” Elijah asked with a frown “The only thing confused here is me.”

“Our elf has been carrying a torch for the Gondor’s youngest son for some time.” Viggo spoke softly ‘a torch that burns just as brightly in return.”

‘You mean, Orli & Daisy?” Elijah’s eyebrows rose as Viggo nodded his head sagely

"Oooh. I didn't...Why doesn't anyone tell me anything?" Elijah sulked, crossing his arms. Viggo chuckled and pulled the smaller man to his side, kissing the top of his head.

"Nothing to tell, Master Hobbit. Not until both parties figure things out." Viggo scanned the arrival crowd for David, noticing that Orlando was now bouncing nervously on the heels of his feet.

"This sucks," Elijah continued to grumble, "Everyone has someone except for me. It'll be one big couples' party and I'll be the only single one there."

Viggo shook his head and squeezed Elijah's shoulder. He looked up and saw a familiar red head of hair walking towards them. Orlando's bouncing ceased almost immediately, and he watched as the young man nervously held his hand out to David before being pulled into a hug.

Elijah watched as David’s hands rubbed affectionately across Orlando’s back as they hugged, David speaking against the soft chocolate brown curls that tumbled across Orli’s ear. Watching Orli’s eye’s light up as he laughed at David’s words was all the confirmation he needed to know that Viggo was right. But then again, Viggo was always right.

“Think you can find me one?” Elijah murmured as he watched them approach.

‘I already know there is one out there that holds your affection dear.” Viggo answered cryptically, standing to greet David.

Elijah opened his mouth to question Viggo, but closed it when he was quickly pulled into a hug by David. The Aussie's eyes were twinkling with joy, and Elijah noticed how close he stood to Orlando and how happy Orlando looked.

"How's Dom doing?" David asked as they picked up his luggage and made their way outside.

"He's getting better. He's at an appointment with a psychologist right now, but he'll be thrilled to see you." Viggo placed David's luggage in the trunk of the car, and unlocked the doors.

"Why don't you sit at the front with me, Lij?" Viggo stated, watching as David and Orlando shared a special look over the top of the car before sliding into the backseat. All parties inside, Viggo started the car, turning up the music slightly to drown out any quiet conversation in the back.

David and Orlando sat in the backseat, their thighs touching. David turned slightly to look into Orlando’s face.

“It’s so good seeing you again ‘Lando.” He murmured. “I’ve been so busy I’ve really missed catching up.” He paused “with my old Rings mates.” He blushed trying not to sound like a hormonally driven teenage girl.

“Me too, what with filming of Pirates and Elizabethtown, and promotions for Kingdom, this is my first real break for a while.”

“You were outstanding in Kingdom.” David stated, neglecting to mention he had sat in the cinema through more than five screenings, just to watch him.

‘It wasn’t goo but not dismal either. I was happy until I read the reviews.” Orli shrugged “Critics hated it.”

David reached across and closed his hand over Orlando’s thigh and caressed it in consolation. “What do they know? I thought you were bloody brilliant.”

Orlando stared spot where David's hand was caressing his thigh, the skin beginning to heat up under his hand. He blushed at David's words, murmuring a small thank you.

"It's too bad you're not the one reviewing my movies then, I could start getting taken seriously once in a while," Orlando whispered. "I'd like to be more than just a pretty face for once."

"You're a talented actor, Orli," David told him squeezing his thigh again. "A talented actor, an adoring son and brother, and an incredible friend."

Orlando lowered his gaze feeling all the blood in his body rush to his face. He never expected David's words to have such an effect on him.

"And you're also unbelievably handsome," Dave said softly, lifting his hand to stroke Orlando's cheek.

“No.” Orli shook his head turning slightly to press his face into David’s hand “I believe the phrase you’re looking for is girlishly pretty with no substance to speak of.” He remembered the words from one of the first reviews he had read about himself. “Face it Daisy.’ He whispered “I’m just the pretty elf.”

“You are far from the pretty elf my boy.” David spoke softly moving closer “They just haven’t looked past preconceived perceptions after they have seen your stunning perfection.” He closed his eyes nervously and leaned forward pressing his lips against Orli’s.

Orlando closed his eyes as soft lips touched his. The kiss was tentative, almost hesitant. Orlando moaned and David slipped his tongue inside Orlando's hot mouth, stroking the inside of his cheeks and tangling with his tongue.

Orlando shifted in the seat, trying to move as close to David as his seatbelt would permit. He ran his hand through the cropped red hair, pulling David's face closer to his. The large hand on his thigh was moving increasingly higher, making small circles on the way. Orlando tilted his head and increased the intensity of the kiss. He could hardly believe that he was kissing David.

Much to David's surprise, Orlando suddenly pulled away, eyes open in shock. "I...I...We shouldn't have done that."

“Why not?” David asked softly.

“Because well…..I dunno.” He sighed

“A good friend once told me that time is precious, you shouldn’t waste it because you never know when it will be ripped away.”

Orlando stared at him mutely, one hand lifting to touch his own kiss swollen lips.

“Surely you realise I adore you,’ David paused “Don’t you?”

Orlando looked at David as if he had grown a second head. He ran his hand over his face, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I...I...I don't know. I mean I didn't know," Orlando stammered. He lifted his head hoping to catch Viggo's eye in the rear-view mirror.

"Oh," replied David feeling his heart shatter to pieces. "I'm sorry for what just happened."
He moved back to sit properly in his seat, back straight, and eyes staring forward.

Orlando's shoulders sagged some more as he watched David move as far away from him as possible. After all the bitching and moaning that he had done, the complaints about not having someone who cared for him, here he was ruining his one shot at happiness.

"Don't be sorry," he said shyly reaching over to hold David's hand, "I liked it."

“You liked it did you?” David’s eyes sparkled almost shyly.

“I did, and I should very much like to do it again, but when we’re alone maybe.” Orlando leaned forward and whispered against David’s ear.

“I’d like that.” David murmured.

Orlando sighed and rested his head back against the seat looking into the rear view mirror he glimpsed the smug satisfied smile on their King’s face, his own face breaking into a broad grin as his fingers laced with Daisy’s.

Elijah looked over at Viggo and rolled his eyes at the smug look on his face. "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match," he sang softly, reaching forward to change the station.

"Are you thinking of taking a part in the Fiddler on the Roof?" Viggo laughed. "If I recall, wasn't that particular song sang by a young lady?"

"Haa haa haa, Vigs. Just because I may be a bit confused about my sexuality, doesn't mean that I'm confused about my gender."

"Patience, Elijah. Don't be in too much of a rush with love. It will happen; at its own time."

“Yes yes oh wise one.” Elijah spoke as he turned to look out the window as they pulled into the hospital parking garage “How is it every time I hear that from you someone else falls in love.”

“Maybe this time it will be you?” Viggo quirked an eyebrow at him, as he stopped the car in front of Billy and Dom who were waiting, inconspicuously hidden under sunglasses and baseball caps.

“You know.” Elijah leaned out the window “You two shady nefarious characters look like you need a ride.” He laughed.

‘Can it ringbearer.” Dom smiled as he whacked his head through the window, then climbed into the back seat closely followed by Billy.

“Good thing we’re small.” Billy grizzled as he squeezed half onto the seat and half on Dom’s lap. “How you doing Daisy?” he greeted him, his eyebrows shooting up as he noticed the laced fingers.

"I'm good, Billy." He turned to smile at Orlando. "Great actually."

Dom looked at David's and Orlando's joined hands with a puzzled expression on his face. He then looked to the front of the car at Viggo and Elijah. Turning to face Billy, his brows were furrowed in confusion.

"Were we always this friendly with each other?" he asked.

"What do you mean, Dommeh?" Billy shifted, the door handle pressing uncomfortably into his side.

"Well, now it's Dave and Orli. This morning it was Viggo and Lij in the kitchen and Lij and O..."

Billy clamped his hand over Dom's mouth, muffling his last few words. Orlando paled and Elijah lowered himself in the seat.

Sporting a large smile, Billy looked back at David: "How's the weather in Australia, Daisy?"

“Not nearly as attractive as it is here.” David answered.

“How’s the head master Merry?” he turned his own head to look at Dom’s technicolor faded bruising.

‘Not too bad.” Dom answered “a little better every day, helps to have my own nurse.” He kissed the back of Billy’s fingers.

“I wondered how long before you actually got your….” David started

“David.” Elijah interrupted him quickly “How long are you here for?”

David paused before answering, suddenly feeling as if he were missing a large part of the story. Orlando was holding his hand tightly, and Billy was looking at him with pleading eyes.

"A couple of days at least, I've never been to Hawaii. I'll stay longer if I get an invitation to do so."

Orlando leaned in, his mouth mere inches away from David's ear. "You don't need an invitation," he whispered, his hot breath making David shiver.

The car fell silent for the remainder of the ride, the radio and Elijah's off-key singing, keeping them entertained. Arriving at the house, Dom got out of the car wincing. David noticed how Billy immediately pulled the younger man closer to him, soothing him with comforting words.

"So," David said watching the two men enter the house, "would someone like to fill me in on this morning's activities and what exactly is wrong with Dom?"

‘Short Story?” Orlando spoke softly as he pulled him after him down towards the beach. “Dom was hit in the neck with a surfboard, he was unconscious for a couple of days. When he woke up he believed that he had all his character, Charlie’s traits, including being a recovering drug addict. But that wasn’t the big part.” Orlando spoke as he traced his fingertips across the back of David’s hand. “He woke up convinced that Billy was his long term lover. In order to preserve Dom’s mental health until he remembers we’ve all been conscripted to perpetuate the opinions.”

“So Billy is acting the part?” David sounded confused.

“You saw him, do you think that’s an act, he loves him.” Orlando shrugged pulling David back to the house “the daft fuckers are so in love it’s nauseating, we’re just trying to help them along.

David laughed and followed Orlando into the house. Viggo and Elijah were speaking in the kitchen, and it appeared that Dom and Billy had retreated to their rooms. Orlando grabbed David's suitcase and led him to the guest room.

"Sorry," Orlando muttered moving some clothes off the queen-sized bed, "I was actually sleeping here. But I'll move into Viggo's room; give you some privacy."

"That's not necessary," David smiled. "Look, the bed is big enough for at least four hobbits and an elf. I'm sure that you and I can fit on it comfortably. Plus it'll keep Viggo's bed open for Elijah."

Orlando giggled, his nervous bouncing starting again. "I'll just make room for your things in the dresser," he babbled unsure of what to do.

"Orli, it's me, Daisy." David reached out to still the boy. "There's no need to be nervous. We're not going to do anything that you don't want to."

Orlando calmed visibly, a smile breaking out on his face, only to have it fall when David winked and asked, "Just for curiosity’s sake; who's the better kisser, me or the hobbit?"

David’s lips pressed softly against Orlando’s, his tongue tracing them wetly, his soft beard scratching against Orli’s soft skin.

Orlando’s lips fell open and as David’s tongue slid across his, his own hands moved to slip across David’s cotton covered back.

David pulled back breathlessly after long moment of hot wet kissing, his beard leaving soft red marks around Orli’s Kiss swollen lips.

“Well ‘Lando, what’s the verdict?” he asked softly.

“I’m not sure.” Orli breathed softly “We might just have to carry out more extensive research.” And leaned back in towards David’s mouth.

~*~*~*~*~

"Are you sure you're okay?" Billy asked Dom for the fifth time in as many minutes. He cradled Dom's neck with one hand as he pushed a freshly-fluffed pillow under his head. He lifted one of Dom's legs, taking off his trainer, before doing the same with the other leg.

"I'm feeling fine, Billy," Dom attempted to reason with his boyfriend. From the moment he had stepped out of the psychologist's office, Billy had been hovering over him like a worried parent.

"You've had a long day, and then the car ride wasn't the most comfortable; especially for your neck." Billy walked quickly to the bathroom, filling a glass with water, and taking the bottle of aspirin from the cabinet. He placed both items on the bedside table next to Dom and sat at the edge of the bed.

"You can ask me, Billy," Dom said taking his hand. "You can ask me how my appointment went."

Billy exhaled, licking his suddenly dry lips. "How was your appointment?"

“Not so much to tell really.” Dom spoke softly reaching out to grab one of Billy’s fluttering hands and fold it in both of his.

“She asked me some questions, we talked a little bit and that was it.”

“You didn’t remember anything?” Billy’s green eyes were wide and questioning.

“Nothing that I hadn’t already remembered.” He lifted Billy’s hand to his lips and kissed his knuckles softly “Stop worrying Mom I’ll be fine.”

A soft knock at the door startled both of them. “I wonder if I might have a moment alone with the patient young pippin.” Viggo spoke softly.

Billy looked from one to the other and then leaned down and kissed Dom gently. “I’ll be outside on the beach, just call me.” He spoke, nodded at Viggo, his forehead creased into a frown before he walked out through the sliding glass doors to the lanai, both men watched him walk from the lanai and onto the beach where he sat, his arms wrapped around his knees looking out towards the water.

Viggo sat down at the end of the bed, still looking at Billy on the beach. "He's a very good man. I've never seen someone love as unconditionally as him."

"I know," Dom sighed. "Sometimes I think that I don't deserve him."

Viggo moved his gaze back to the young man stretched out in front of him. He noticed how quickly Dom's eyes avoided his.

"Tell me about your appointment," Viggo asked.

Dom bit his lip, hesitating before speaking. "He just asked me how I was dealing with not remembering things, um, if I had any memories come back, and how often they came back."

"Is that all?" A puzzled expression formed on Viggo's face as Dom nodded slowly.

"May I ask you a question, Dominic?" Again Dom nodded, looking at everything but Viggo.

"How long has it been since you regained your memory?"

“How did you know?” Dom asked softly, tears spilling down his cheeks.

“You are your old self again.’ He murmured reaching out to wipe the tears from his cheeks. ‘I would guess that it was sometime this morning, at a guess in the kitchen….what was it that brought them back?”

‘I remembered Bills’ porridge and how he likes cane sugar and it was like a floodgate had opened.” Dom whispered.

“And when are you planning on telling him?” Viggo probed gently.

“I can’t Viggo; please don’t make me tell him. If I tell him I’ll lose Billy my lover, I can’t lose that not when I’ve wanted him for so long.”

“So instead you’ll let him suffer thinking that you’re suffering, is that fair do you think?”

"I'm a horrible, selfish person," Dom said through his tears, "but if it means being able to hold him, touch him then fine."

"Dom. This is too big of a secret for you to keep. You have to tell him."

Dom shook his head, grimacing as pain shot through his neck. "Six years, Vig. I'm not going to lose him now, I just found him. I can't tell him; I just can't."

Viggo stood up and moved around to Dom's side of the bed. He gathered the crying man into his arms, making small hush noises, as he rubbed his back.

"Can't you see that Billy loves you, Dominic? Can't you see it in the way he looks at you? Can't you feel it in the way he touches you?"

He tilted Dom's back, looking into water filled eyes. "Don't you think you owe him at least some honesty?"

“And what will honesty get me? Get him? We’re both happy now, happier than we’ve been for years. I love him Viggo and if I have to sell part of my soul to keep him happy I’ll do it.”

“And do you think that’s something he wants you to do?” Viggo asked gently.

“I don’t know.” Dom answered sadly.

“If you don’t tell him Dominic I’ll have to.”

“No.” Dom cried “I’ll tell him.” He whimpered “I just need to find the right time. Please?”

Viggo stood up and walked to the patio door, indicating for Dom to look outside.

"Who do you see out there, Dom?"

"Billy," Dom said without hesitation.

"Is that really Billy out there?" Viggo pointed to the small man who had practically curled himself into a ball, knees tucked up under his chin, arms wrapped tightly around him. "When have you ever known Billy to withdraw into himself like this?"

Dom's heart dropped in chest as the truth of Viggo's words began to sink in. Billy did look vulnerable sitting out there.

"He needs to know that you remember him, Dominic," Viggo said his back to the bed. "Not boyfriend Billy, but best-friend Billy. He needs to know that you remember the little moments that made your friendship so special."

“I can’t lose him Viggo.” Dom whispered.

“You don’t need to. Talk to him. Tell him little things you’ve remembered. Let him know you remember the friendship as well. Don’t let him suffer like this.”

Aww, poor Dommeh. Of course the King knew he was faking. Hmm, I wonder how Billy's going to take the news.

Biting my fingernails waiting for the next part!

Poor Dommeh? Lying rat that he is! I hope Billy drops him like a hot potato.
Poor Billy is more like it, sitting out there all by himself. *cuddles her Boyd*

“You two shady nefarious characters look like you need a ride.” *giggles* oh and...

I KNEW IT!!!!!!

From the start of the chapter, I was planning on commenting with "my theory" of how Dom actually remembers but won't tell BIlly because he's concerned that Billy doesn't mean it and will just go back to being friends... ha! Go me!

Also, though it seemed a little hurried, I like the Ordaisy. That's why I started this story in the first place, seeing Ordaisy and also Kargo in the pairings... I also can't wait to see what happens with Elijah, though. Oh, Viggo in this story. So awesome. And I am SO glad for the Easter treat. I don't celebrate Easter myself, but I'll consider it a Happy Passover prezzie, something to distract from the fact that I can eat... pretty much... nothing. *g*

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

Yaaay! But do you know how it all ends? *cue dramatic music*

Elijah will be fine. Believe me. He'll be juuuust fine. < /cryptic...or not so>

that was WONDERFUL!!! you totally made me cry! please I need MORE. lol I'm going through withdrawl here. lol, but no really I am. any way that really was great!!!

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

*passes tissue* Ooh, we didn't mean for you to cry. They're happy tears, right? *sniffs* Dun cry any more. We'll have smut soon, promise.

"You really love me, don't you?" He said out loud, more of a statement than a question.

oh man! does he think that billy only went along with this arrangement because it's what he (dom) wanted? and is dom discovering that maybe billy really did mean it all along??? :i hope i hope i hope:

Something was different about this kiss, Dom’s fingers seemed to be tracing every inch of his back and then his face, his own hands moved to skim across Dom’s arms and chest.

eeeee! am i right?? i'm right, aren't i?? dom does remember, but now he doesn't want to say anything, because he's afraid billy's just been pretending and he (dom) doesn't want to lose the right to kiss and touch him! (my mind is really working overtime right now)

Elijah looked over at Viggo and rolled his eyes at the smug look on his face. "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match," he sang softly, reaching forward to change the station.

laugh out loud funny. love how you've been able to manage keeping the humor slipping in, at all the right moments. and just who does the king have in mind for dear elijah? himself maybe? (ok, that might be sleep deprivation speaking right now, not sure)

“You didn’t remember anything?” Billy’s green eyes were wide and questioning.

“Nothing that I hadn’t already remembered.”

hee hee hee. that tricksie hobbit. what a great way to tell the truth, but not the whole truth.

“How did you know?” Dom asked softly, tears spilling down his cheeks.

oh fuck! i was right! :chortles with glee:

i was writing up my recap (feedback) as i went along taking the points as i found them. :does snoopy dance:

looooooves this, oh yes i do. i have the biggest grin on my face.

hee. i need an internal editor like nobodies business! i just can't seem to keep things brief. a simple, "i really like this" is just impossible for me.

btw, your icon is deelish! :paws dommeh:

OMG I know, he's so hot. That icon pleases me to no end.

And I think that your feedback is much better than "I liked this alot." Because that would be boring. And grammatically incorrect! lol!

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

You're hilarious! So you think you've figured us out, heh? Well...you're right. Damn! Our plot for world domination has been foiled.

what a great way to tell the truth, but not the whole truth. Um..truth? In my book that's flat out LYING. Oooh, I hope Billy knocks him back to New Zealand...or shags Viggo...or both, cuz that would be really hot.

Ooh, chocolate!

what a great way to tell the truth, but not the whole truth. Um..truth? In my book that's flat out LYING.

golly! technically speaking, he didn't lie. he said "Nothing I hadn't already remembered"... which was true. Billy just doesn't know the extent of how much is involved in the "already remembered" part. it's a fine line. very, very fine. but since you're the writer, and obviously have a strong feeling about this, i'll bow to your "flat out lying". even if i'm willing to give dom the benefit of the doubt.

as for involving the king in any bedroom romps, i'm usually all up for "everybody dance" type thing, but you've worked so hard to construct the relationship between dom and billy that it really does seem to be exclusive to all others.

*showers you in chocolate eggs for excellent writing*

kerry =)

Oh cliff-hanger! I can't wait to see what happens when Dom tell Billy he remembers everything, and where the relationship between Lij and Viggo goes.

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

Dun dun duuuun!

At this point, I think your "when" should be an "if".

Aye, Lij and Viggo. It could never work. One's royalty, the other a lowly hobbit. *sniff* Maybe at the beginning they'd be able to keep their love pure, but then obligations and family would get in their way. Excuse me. I'm tearing up. *one wet tear rolls down my cheek* I'll be okay. Really.

From: [identity profile] mystery-ink.livejournal.com

Whew.... so Dom IS okay with it. Gott sei dank!

*L*! So funny... I rarely read anything other than monaboyd, and nothing that doesn't involve the hobbits, and now I remember why. Despite your wonderful writing, I just don't find Orlando and David to be sexy together - isn't that odd? *L*! I'm sure there's some deep-seated psychological meaning that I will figure out one day.

Good thing Viggo is there for those two... and, yes, I was singing "matchmaker" before Elijah was - *G*. Oh, one little thing - the psychologist is referred to as "she", and then "he"; perhaps you changed your mind at one point?

But will Billy be okay with it? Hmmm??

It's not odd that you don't find Orli/David sexy together. They're a rare pairing actually. It could be that you're just not used to seeing them together. I used to think of Dom/Ian as odd...then I read a couple of really well-written (and extremely hot) fics: totally converted me!

Good thing Viggo is there, period. I'm afraid to think of what would have happened without some sort of adult supervision ;)

Oops, typo slipped in. Just proves to you that we're humans :D

What a good present for good friday! We're so lucky you're giving us these extra chapters!

But I'm scared. this isn't even halfway done and he's already got his memory back. That makes the prospects for the OMGWTFNO! moment even more distressing.

You girls have got me soooooo worked up... jeez.

I'm off to find a brown paper bag and a dark calming place to hide.

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

Glad you liked your present! But no more extra chapters!! [livejournal.com profile] sassywitch is being too kind. I'm the strict one out of the two of us. Grr.

That makes the prospects for the OMGWTFNO! moment even more distressing. HAAAAAAAAAAAA!! You're adorable! That's great. You're 100% correct though. Maybe. Sort of. Kind of. We'll see.

Nice deep breathes. Inhaaaleeee. Hold it. Exhaalleeeee. Whoooooosh.

From: [identity profile] sourgreenapples.livejournal.com

So you're the one that's responsible for making us squirm like crazy between chapters! I had my suspicions! ;)

OMG YOU TEASE. *puts fingers in ears* lalalalalalalala

From: [identity profile] starlingthefool.livejournal.com

Jeez, I so did not catch on that Dom had remembered. Oh, beautiful. I'm going to read this again, I think.

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

It was subtle things. Don't worry. Billy still hasn't caught on...and he's sleeping with the guy!!

(sigh)

I swear, if I loved you any more, my wife would be pissed!

(hee)

Lovely, lovely fic m'lady. Just adoring it, can't wait to read more.

Re: (sigh)

Haa! Silly wives always getting in the way of my loving. *grumbles*

Thank you, kind Sir. *curtseys*

Re: (sigh)

What worse than the fact that I would have written sir anyways, is the fact that I READ YOUR USERNAME before I replied. *head -->very sharp object*

This is what happens when I don't get enough love :(

From: [identity profile] bride-no2.livejournal.com

Re: (sigh)

please step away from the sharp object! This is not an impalable (is that a word) offense!

no worries, really...I'd just had one of those days when people mistake me for a boy, and I felt the need to assert my female-ness.

From: [identity profile] capra-maritimus.livejournal.com

Oooh, Nice twist there. Having Dom remember and then hiding it from Billy.

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

Hee. Glad you liked it. Dom would have had to get his memory back sooner or later. We just thought it'd be more fun if it happened sooner :D Poor, clueless Billy.

From: [identity profile] emily-112.livejournal.com

OOOOO YAY!!! I went away for a week and came home and had 4 parts of this to read!!!! I was so happy!!! *dances*

Dom remembers! And still wants Billy!
I cant wait till Dom tells him. *needs next part now!*

Loving the Ordaisy aswell, even though I've never read that pairing before, its really great and poor Elijah not feeling loved! Awww *hugs him* Viggo should kiss him again!

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

I swear, [livejournal.com profile] sassywitch doesn't know how to count. This was not three days a week. You spoiled people!

Really. Who wouldn't want Billy? Mmm. Billy.

I can't wait till Dom tells him either. *grabs some popcorn and prepares for the fireworks*

OrDaisy is a relatively new pairing. It's surprising that there aren't more fics with them around. Maybe they're all hidden somewhere. Poor Elijah. I agree with you! Viggo should kiss him again :P

From: [identity profile] emma-took.livejournal.com

yay, i had to catch up from being on holiday, but really really want more, i cant wait! I love this, and Orli and Daisy are so cute!!!

From: [identity profile] wanderlost.livejournal.com

More? You got like a zillion chapters in a row!! You're lucky I'm not the one in charge of posting. I'd make you wait until May :P

Orli and Daisy are cute. Oh..hold on. *Billy!muse whispers something* I was told to tell you that they're still not as cute as Monaboyd, though. :D

From: [identity profile] loozy.livejournal.com

Yes, please, Dom, stop it... It's not fair to either you or Billy... Please :(
