I've often found myself pointing out that love/in love difference in RL. I see them quite separately.
I had fun with the voices - though I know that Billy could have had more of a lilt - but didn't want to go too far down the accent-cliche path.
Yep, a little nerve-wracking - but I suspect I'm in safe hands ;)

Yes, I think that's a very important difference. Two very separate things.
Eh- I'm not a huge fan of reading Billy written in dialect or with the accent. We all know he's got one, why force the issue? I find it a bit distracting to read though too, but that's me.
Put this in my memories, btw. :)

Weirdly, I find reading dialogue-only in dialect, quite exhausting because I then want to vocalise (in my head!) the accent. Try reading Roddy Doyle without going Irish!
