Chapter 10

“Billy that’s the door” Dom shouts from the bedroom finishing up getting dressed. Billy lifts Morgan onto his hip and answers the door. Dom runs down the hallway and meets Billy at the door. His gives Billy a kiss on the cheek before he opens the door. “You must be Mr. Stevens.”
“Well Mr. Stevens is my father; please call me Nick.”
“Please come in Nick.”

The house is prefect; the girls are at a friend’s house. Dom and Billy worked for hours making sure the house was presentable for their new director. They both know this is a big meeting. It’s the director seeing if they are really right for the parts.”
Dom steps aside to let Nick into the house and then leads them into the living room. “Would anyone like something to drink?
“Scotch on the rocks would be great.” Dom looks over to Billy for his answer “Just a soda love and can you get a bottle of formula too.”
“Can do, be right back.” Dom walks from the room and Billy starts with some small talk while Nick looks around the room. “How was your flight?” Nick looks up from a picture of Dom and the girls finger painting from a few months ago “Oh just fine, long… very long, but this place is beautiful.” Nick points to the child in Billy’s arms “Oh this is Morgan.” Billy waves Morgan’s small hand “and the two in the picture are Merry and Jamie; they will be home later; they’re at a play date right now.” Nick looks back down at the picture from before. “They’re lovely, Billy.” Billy laughs and says “you say that now but they are holy terrors when they haven’t had a nap but we love them just the same.” Nick laughs at Billy’s comment. Dom walks in with their drinks; quirks an eyebrow at Billy and places the tray on the table. He hands nick his drink and passes Billy his soda and the bottle. Finally Dom sits and lifts a cup of tea he made for him self to his lips. “Please sit make yourself at home.” Billy takes a seat in the chair closest to Dom and arranges Morgan on his lap. Nick sits in the arm chair facing Billy.
“I assume that you both have read the scrip by now, so what did you guys think of it.”
“It was great; we are both really excited to do this.” Dom say looking over Nick them over to Billy feeding Morgan “But we need you to we haven’t talked to our daughters about this and we have to do what is best for them, we want them to be happy.” Nick nods and Billy continues “we wanted to talk to you first before we got the girls wound up.” “I can understand that I have kids of my own, I would never want you to do anything to hurt them.” Nick smiles at Morgan who is having his afternoon meal. “If you don’t mind me asking are the kids adopted?” All three men look at Morgan; Dom looks up. “Most people don’t want to ask its okay, the kids are ours… our good friend Ali carried the kids and we had donor eggs. The twins are from me and Morgan is from Billy; its funny most people thought when Ali was pregnant the first time that Billy had left me to be with her; But we are just one big happy family.” Dom smiles at the Billy and Morgan. Billy loves when Dom talks about their family he glows. Billy and Dom turn their heads when they hear a car drive up to the house. “Excuse me; I do believe that, that would be the rest of this crime team.”

“Papa we had so much fun today… we got to play dress up with make up too and paint and we even got to play in the dirt, then we went swimming… it was the best day.” The two blondes finish each others sentences. “That’s wonderful my loves. I have someone I want you to meet someone.” Dom waves thanks to the minivan in the driveway and takes the twins by the hands and leads them into the living room.
“Merry, Jamie this is Mr. Stevens can you say hello?”
“Hello Mr. Stevens are you friends with our daddies?” Merry asks
“Hello Mr. Stevens …”
“Hello girls… yes I am friends with your daddies… it sounds like you had a good day.” Nick smiles down on the girls.
“You sound like our Da are you from Scotland too?” Jamie asks looking at the man across the room. Nick nods and the girls smile. “Why don’t you two go play in your room for a bit and we will call you when its time for dinner.” Dom says trying to move the evening along. Both girls wave goodbye to the men in the living room and head to there bedroom. “They’re cute.” Nick’s eyes follow the girls down the hallway. “With all of you we are going to have to start looking for a nice big house for you.”
“Well we already have one… its mine and Dom’s old place from when we were living in Scotland after we finished the ‘rings’.” Billy says. Dom gives him a questioning look but will wait until later to talk to him about it. “Wonderful, less work for my team. We can’t wait to have you there…there are so many stories that I have heard about you two on set…very colorful.” Billy and Dom both blush and remember their younger more carefree days. “Colorful … yes well that was a long time ago, I hope we do not disappoint… we have both grown up a bit since those days.” Billy picks up a picture of himself and Dom dressed in there hobbits outfits. Nick smirk at them. “So when would you like us over there; so we can get ready, packing, learning the scrip, getting the kids ready, it’s a lot to do.” Billy asks. “A month and a half would be great so the end of June or is that too early?” Nick asks. Dom looks at Billy and they both nod. “The show ends the beginning of June so that should work fine; it will give the kids some time to get used to a new place.” “Aye great… the time change can be a killer especially with kids.” Nick says. Billy looks at the clock and realizes its almost 3 in the morning for Nick and that if he and Dom don’t have dinner on the table soon they are going to have some very unhappy young ladies running around the house. “Time change must be killing you why didn’t you say something, Nick, you must exhausted… would you like to head back to your hotel or would you like to have dinner with us before you go?”
Billy asks. “I would love to join you guys and don’t worry I got a good amount of sleep on the plane… it would be nice not to have room service for once.” Just as Nick finishes speaking the sound of little feet can be heard coming down the hallway. “Papa, when is dinner? We’re hungry.” Says Merry climbing onto the couch. “Soon loves, why don’t you show Mr. Stevens around the house while we make dinner.” The girls eyes light up and they nod eagerly. Billy and Dom stand and make their way into the kitchen; Billy moves Morgan to his hip and before Billy can make it through the doorway Nick says “I can watch him if you like.” Nick points the Morgan who is happily sucking on his little hand. Billy smiles in thanks and hands Morgan to Nick and follows Dom out of the room. Nick turns from the doorway and looks down on the three children in gathered around him. “So what would you like to do…?”

“Billy love can you turn the oven to 350’” Dom asks as he pulls ingredients for their meal out of the fridge. “Yup” Billy moves across the kitchen to the oven but can’t help but swat Dom’s ass waving in the air as he walks pass. “Hey” Dom whines and Billy gives him a cheeky look. “Wanker.” He mumbles to himself. Billy looks back into the living room cheek more on nick than the kids; he knows they can be a hand full. “They’re watching it again… I wonder if we should tell him now he may lose a few weeks of his life watching that damn movie.” Billy says jokingly. “No just let him go mad… maybe he can get the tape away from those two.” Dom says with a cheeky look of his own. Dom walks up behind Billy and puts his around him. He kisses the spot just behind his that that sends chills down Billy’s spine. “What was that for?” Billy asks bringing of Dom’s hands to his lips. “Nothing I just love you.” Dom answers and kisses Billy again. “Hmmm… love you too.” “Billy tomorrow we will talk to the girls okay?” Dom can feel Billy nod his head against his chest.

Just a little over to hours later Billy shuts the door after watching a very tired and full Nick pull out of the driveway. It’s been a long day and all Billy can think about is going to bed warped in the arms of his husband.
