Part One

"What do you mean 'give them something to see'?"
"Oh come on Dom, not even Orli would ask a question that dumb, you know what I mean, and if you don't then I give you far too much credit"
"No, no I know what you mean, I just...are you serious?"
"Yeah, why not? We give them something to walk in on and after a couple of weeks they'll leave us alone"
"A couple of weeks?"
"Yeah. Come on Dom, it's just harmless fun. It's not we've got any deep, hidden feelings that are going to be revelaed is it?" Billy laughed, and Dom joined in, agreeing whole-heartedly.
"Ok then Boyd, you're on. It's about time they left us alone and I can't wait to see their faces."

The two men emerged into the kitchen to be met by wolf-whistling from their friends. A quick glance between them confirmed that their plan was going to be put into action straight away. They sat opposite each other at the table and Astin handed them both a cup of coffee. The group sat in silence for a while, Lij and Orli watching Billy and Dom closely. Astin cleared his throat.
"Hey guys, you know we were joking earlier right?"
"We were?...OW" Elijah rubbed his arm where Astin had hit him, pouting a little.
"Yes, we were, and we know there's nothing going on between you two."
Dom caught Billy's eyes and an unspoken agreement passed between them. They sat, gazing at each other while Dom spoke.
"Yeah, sure. Whatever man it's cool man" He smirked at Billy and the Scot let out a low laugh as, unknown to their friends, he let his foot slip up the inside of Dom's leg.
"Coffee's a bit hot" Dom choked out as he coughed and felt a blush rise into his cheeks. Orli and Lij shared a glance with Astin and they turned to back to the pair. Billy was pushing his chair away from the table.
"Need the loo" He stated and headed off down the corridor, stopping and turning around just out of sight, so that only Dom could see him. He covered his mouth to stifle the laughter and beckoned Dom over, mouthing 'Follow me'.
The other two hobbits and the elf watched in mild amazement as Dom excused himself and headed off in the same direction as Billy.
