Author's notes: Sorry it's been a while, but unfortunately university life restarted and I got distracted by essays and whatnot. This chapter is short, about 300 words. It was really just a gesture to show that I'm still intending to finish this fic. Heh heh. I'm still just getting back into the swing of things.

9:23am
Billy opened his eyes to a bright light. The sun crept in through the curtains and woken Billy up, who was still sat in the spare room where Dom had left him. He rested his head in his hands, wishing he could turn back the clock and undo all the damage he had done with just that one gesture. He replayed the moment over and over in his head. Was he taking advantage, or just helping out a mate? His thoughts were as messed up as the current state of his friendship with Dom.

9:27am
He opened the kitchen cupboards and took the nearest box of cereal. He opened the box and found himself staring into it. 'He's not in there, you idiot,' Billy thought to himself. He threw the cereal box onto the table.

9:31am
Billy was staring at the phone resting in his hands. To call, or not to call. That was, indeed, the question. Dom wouldn't talk to him, he already knew that. But maybe he could leave a message on the machine. To try and explain. Billy put the phone on the table. Maybe a letter would be better.

9:37am
After searching frantically for some paper and a pen that actually worked, Billy sat back down at the kitchen table and started to write.

DearDom.
Look, about last night. I was only trying to help you out. You looked upset all day and I wanted to cheer you up try and make you feel worth something.
Love Billy.

Billy frowned. If he couldn't even try and find the words to write it, how the hell is he going to cope with talking to him. Or worse, seeing him face to face. He screwed the paper up and tossed it aside. This was bad. Really, really bad.
