this is turning into quite the little conversation between the anonymous readers, huh? =) in answer to your question, i THINK the difference is that Great Britain is just the island that includes England, Scotland, and Wales, and the United Kingdom is Great Britain plus Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the territories and what not. correct me if i'm wrong, i should know this considering i grew up in Scotland, but i've lived in British Columbia for so long i sometimes forget random things like this.
