Title: Sleepless in Glasgow

Summary: Billy can't sleep.

Unbeta'd drabble, so all mistakes and elements of suck belong to me. Inspired by my own insomnia.

For weeks, Billy can't sleep. Insomnia, he decides, has gotten the worst of him. He eventually calls up his friends for advice, as walking around like a zombie at the market is far from appealing.

Elijah takes a drag from his cigarette and tells him to find a bird to really make him tired. Billy just laughs at the American's pseudo-Brit lingo and tells him to stop smoking.

Sean asks him if anything's on his mind. Billy says no, the only thing on his mind is not getting any bloody sleep. Sean then tells him that maybe he should invest in one of those machines that plays "soothing nature sounds." Billy tells him that he's been talking to Vig and Dom too much, and Give my love to Christine and the kids. Sean says he will, and No, he hasn't talked to either the human or the hobbit.

Orli tells him to simply get wasted until he passes out. Billy says calmly that no, he'd rather not deal with a hang over, you nancy elf.

Dom listens to all of what Billy has to say and all the advice Billy's been given and thinks that maybe Billy needs a change of scenery. Billy considers this, thanks Dom, and calls up his travel agent and arranges for a plane ticket.

The next day, jet-lagged on top of being tired, Billy is standing on Dom's doorstop, with just a duffel bag of clothes. By the end of the night, with a belly happily full of liquor and curled up next to Dom, Billy finally gets some well deserved sleep.

Aww. Seeing this is taking some of the sting out of writing a paper :)
