A/N: Cross-posted to my journal. This was inspired by the [livejournal.com profile] lotrpschallenge memegen. When you put in your user name, it gives you three characters and a feeling. Well, mine was unusual in that, all of my characters turned out to be Billy, and the feeling was cranky. So, this is what I came up with. Couldn't work in the cranky feeling that well, though. Enjoy!

Billy has always been Pippin. He’ll tell you that Pippin was, in fact real, and that somehow, he was reincarnated. And that’s how he knows that he was born to play the part. He came into this world, not a Boyd, but a Took.

So, in his Hobbit gear staring out his trailer window, he looks at his Merry. Yes, his Merry. He knew Merry and Pippin were meant to be. Cousins or not. They had a bond that no two humans (er, Hobbits) had ever shared before. Because, if you didn’t love someone, you could only spend so long up a tree with them without wanting to kill them. Or at least throw something at them. And Cup doesn’t count.

So he watched his Merry. And then he saw him, that bastard Frodo. The one who wanted to take his Merry away. He watched them stand close - too close - and laugh the sort of laugh that only lovers have. The sort of deep infectious laugh that makes your eyes go shut. It’s not a harsh laugh. More of a breathless chuckle. But there they were, laughing. A touch here, a touch there. A caress. It was a bit more than he could take.

He resigned himself from the window, went to lean against the back wall. If he looked out the window at the right angle, he could see Merry. Just Merry. So there he stood, breath catching in his throat. He couldn’t keep his hand from wandering where it wished. Snaking down his body and into the itchy fabric of his trousers, he found the heat to be too much. So he rubbed, bidding that the heat go away. But the sweet friction only seemed to make it worse. He circled his head with his thumb, spreading the precum, making himself slick. Good, so good. His eyes were still on Merry.

Then Merry stared back. He wasn’t really staring back. Pip knew he couldn’t be seen from the window. Merry was concentrating on something, something that appeared to be so very close to where he was. His gaze wasn’t dropping. He pretended that it was him that was being stared at - a look of wonder. It fueled his desires further. He was beyond teasing himself. He took a hold of his shaft, stroked it hard. Too much, too much. It was just too much.

Harder, faster. So very close. His head rolled back, his eyes fluttered shut… And his climax claimed him, gripped him so hard he couldn’t breathe. His hips bucked, and he drained himself. He came with a single word on his lips. Merry.

Billy has always been gay. He’ll tell you that he’s had a sneaking suspicion since he was young, but that thought became clear when he met Dom. Dominic Monaghan. God’s gift to mankind. Yes, mankind. Because the whole world knew, that when Dom was with women, it was just a game. Just a way to amuse himself until something better came along. Like a penis. And to be more specific, Billy’s.

The first time they kissed was an accident. They had both turned at the exact same time to give each other a kiss on the cheek, and instead, lips met lips. Both of them pulled away, blushing from having done it in the public eye. But later, days later, when they were all alone, they did it again. This time on purpose. It started out as most true first kisses do, slow, sweet. Then it became harder, more frantic.

Moaning, panting… It all escalated. And soon, there was skin on skin. Clothing, moved aside, taken off completely. Billy loved to explore Dom. Knew all the curves of his body. He could draw you a map of Dom. All the scenic routes, the best places to stop, places never to go. While every place on Dom was nice, being in Dom was what Billy lived for.

The first time they made love, it was raining. They had been out surfing, and the thunder called them back to shore. They went inside, collapsed on the bed, wetsuits left in a forgotten place. Both just needed sleep, but right now, it wasn’t what they wanted. Dom gave Billy sleepy kisses along his neck, brushed his hand along his hip. Then Billy loomed over Dom the way the clouds hung in the sky. Long, intense and lingering.

Dom was tight, so tight. But his body gave nicely. The first ring of muscle relaxed, let Billy slid in with little resistance. And it was beautiful. The look on Dom’s face, the way the lightning made sharp contrasts on his body. All so beautiful.

Dom reached up, caressed Billy’s face, but he never said a word. His climax came softly, quietly. Billy’s came undone with just the little wince Dom made with his entire body. He rode it out like a wave. Slow, soft, a bit uneven. And he whispered out Dom’s name.

Billy has always been straight. He’ll tell you that when he caught Dom cheating, it wasn’t a big deal. It was just a fling anyway. And now that they were out of New Zealand, he didn’t have to worry. Didn’t have to see Dom every fecking day like he used to. Not that he wouldn’t mind. They were best mates after all.

And when he met Allison, he was straighter than he’d ever been in his life, yes sir. She was a woman. The sort of woman any man should want. She was graceful, and how could she not be? She was a dancer. She was loving - treated Billy like her everything. She cooked decent meals. Not that she ever cooked badly, it’s just that she hadn’t gotten used to Billy’s tastes. She was pretty. Blond hair, fair skin - the epitome of society’s beautiful.

She said she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. He said ok, bought a ring, and that was it. He’d called Dom to tell him the news. “Ali and I are getting married. Isn’t it wonderful? Aren’t you happy for me?” And Dom had said that it was wonderful, he was happy for him, and he’d hoped they would have a nice life together.

The night he had given her the ring, she’d led him into the bedroom. Had set up candles, put on soft music. He’d thought it a bit cliché. He kissed her softly, but he never looked at her, especially when she turned his head with her hands.

He went about it as he always had. Kiss kiss, touch touch. It felt almost mechanical, but she seemed to like it. Made soft sounds in the back of her throat. He’d thrust she’d shiver. And she always came more easily than he. She would ask Billy if anything was wrong. He’d say, “Nope, nothing’s wrong. Just a bit harder for me. It’ll happen.” And she’d let him continue well after she was done, hoping that tonight would be the night. It was.

She didn’t know what had happened that day. Maybe it was the engagement. He seemed much more aggressive. He was grunting, sweating. He had her on her stomach. He poured everything into it this time. He was no longer gentle. There were no kisses. There were no touches. Just the thrusting, the concentration on the finish line. He came quick and hard, and there was only one name on his lips. Dominic.
