Billy looked over just as Dom stuck his legs up in the air and placed them on the back of the couch, his head hanging over the edge. “Dom, what the fuck are you doing?”

“I have to put my eye drops in.” Dom pulled a small bottle out of his pocket. He opened his eyes and placed a small drop in each eye. He then swung his legs back down on the couch and pulled his head up onto a pillow.

“What do you have eye drops for?” Billy plopped himself on the couch beside Dom and handed the younger man his drink.

“Oh, you know, just do.” Dom placed his drink to his lips and gulped the whole thing down.

Billy rolled his eyes. He’d long sense given up on understanding Dom. “When are Doodle and the elf supposed to be here?”

The doorbell rang and Dom jumped off the couch. “Now.” He leapt over the coffee table and bolted to the door. He flung it open and pulled Elijah into a giant bear hug. He shoved the young American to the side and grabbed Orlando. “You’re here!”

Elijah looked over at Billy who came into the hallway. “What did you give him?”

“Nothing,” Billy said, holding up his hands. “I no longer claim responsibility for his behavior.” He smiled as Elijah walked over. “Hey, Doodle. Good to see you.”

“Good to see you, Bills,” Elijah replied as he hugged Billy, a little bit more restrained than Dom had hugged him.

Dom ran between them, dragging Orlando behind him. Elijah and Billy exchanged a glance before following them into the kitchen.

“So where’s Mac?” Orlando asked once Dom had released him.

“He’s...not here.”

“No, shit Sherlock. I figured that out when you called and said, ‘Come on over. Mac’s not here.’” Orlando crossed his arms over his chest and glared at Dom.

“Oh? I said that. Hm.” Dom shrugged and pulled out four sodas. “He left when Billy came. I think he was scared.”

“The two of you together is a scary thing,” Elijah said with a laugh.

Dom tackled Elijah to the ground. “What did you say, Doodle?”

“Nothing! Now let me up.” Elijah struggled beneath Dom’s weight.

“What do you say?” Dom asked with a gleam in his eyes.

Elijah rolled his eyes. “Merry was the hero.”

“And?”

“And Dominic Monaghan played him to perfection now get off of me.” Elijah shoved Dom off and sat up. “What have you been eating? You have to weigh about twenty more pounds the last time you sat on me.”

“Are you saying I’m fat?” Dom moved to tackle Elijah again but Billy grabbed him as Elijah hid behind Orlando.

“No. Just heavy.”

Dom turned and grinned at Billy. “You never said anything.”

“Ew. Didn’t need that picture in my head,” Orlando said as he pulled Elijah out from behind him. “Doodle, I’m not your bodyguard.”

Billy shook his head. “Children.”

Dom jumped on his back. “Who are you calling a child, Boyd?”

“Shit, Dom, get off me before you kill my back.”

Dom sighed and hopped off. “Wouldn’t want that. Although you’re usually on your back anyways.” Dom ran back into the living room and jumped up onto the couch.

“ANOTHER image I didn’t need, Monaghan!” Orlando called as he grabbed the abandoned sodas.

Dom grinned from his seat on the couch. He was sitting on the arm, his feet resting on the cushion. “You know you like it, Orli.”

Billy shook his head again and walked toward Dom’s bedroom, rubbing his back. He could hear Dom and Elijah arguing over whether it was called soda or pop. “Why don’t you just call it soda pop?” Billy called as he opened his bag and pulled out a bottle of pills. He went into the bathroom and turned on the water. He cupped his hands under the stream and drank a small amount of water before popping two of the pain pills into his mouth and swallowing. He always had a hard time swallowing pills unless he already had some water. He sighed and looked into the mirror.

Everyone told him he looked younger than he actually he was but Billy didn’t see it. He saw a receding hairline, a pale face, and tired eyes that held more pain than he let out. He sighed and ran his under the water again before splashing some on his face.

Dom appeared at the doorway. “You ok, Billy?”

Billy nodded. “Yeah, just need to take some medicine. You hurt my back.”

“My Billy,” Dom said as he shook his head and smiled. “Such the old man.”

Billy sighed and rubbed his eyes. “Am I really that old?” he whispered.

“Billy,” Dom said as he walked over and stood behind Billy. He wrapped his arms around the Scot’s waist. “Not that old.”

“Why are you with me?” Billy asked as he leaned back in Dom’s embrace.

“Because I love you,” Dom whispered in Billy’s ear. “I don’t care how old you are.”

Billy sighed. “Being around you three really makes me feel old.”

“Bills, you aren’t that old. And without you how much trouble would we be in?”

Billy turned and smiled up at Dom as his already aching back was pressed up against the sink. “I don’t want to think about that.”

Dom leaned over and kissed Billy softly on the lips before moving to his neck. “Too much trouble,” he whispered in the crock of Billy’s neck, his stubble tickling Billy.

“Dom, not right now. We have guests.”

Dom lifted his head, let go of Billy, and bolted into the living room, Billy right behind him. “Ok, you two. Time to go. Take the pop with you.”

“Soda,” countered Elijah. “And why are we leaving?”

“Because I asked you to.” Dom pulled at Elijah’s hand.

“Dom, come on. Let them stay,” Billy said.

Dom shook his head. “No. Please go!” Dom whined, still tugging on Elijah’s hand.

“Why?” Orlando asked.

“If you must know, Mr. Bloom, we, as in Billy and me, want to shag so unless you have some voyeuristic fantasy I don’t know about and what to watch us...” Dom shrugged as he finally managed to pull Elijah to his feet.

“Oh, well...Doodle...look...just look at the time! Let’s, uh, let’s go.” Orlando took Elijah’s hand and started to drag the American toward the door.

“I have a voyeuristic fantasy!” Elijah exclaimed.

“Here, Doodle. Take your soda, pop, drink and get out.” Dom handed Elijah his drink and shoved the two men out the door.

Billy sat down on the couch just as Dom ran into the room and tackled him back against the cushions. “Dom.”

“Come on, Billy. Let’s finish what we started.” Dom leaned over and covered Billy’s face in kisses.

“Wait, wait. Hold on. Something is digging into my back.” Billy reached under him and pulled out Dom’s small bottle of eye drops. “Why are you using these?”

“The better to see you with.” Dom said with a shrug. He leaned over and kissed Billy’s neck, then his cheek, then his forehead. “The better to taste you with.”

Billy laughed as Dom continued his attack. He lost all memory of the pain in his back. "Crazy Dom," he said with a chuckle

"Old Man Billy," Dom replied.
