Pairing: BB/DM, of course.
Author's notes: My first ever BB/DM anything. Erm. I know it's sucky, but I thought a 100-word vignette would be the best place to start. Tips, critique, etc. appreciated.
He switches tracks. It takes a second to adjust to the song. He wonders if anyone else ever gets that. You change songs and the notes sound all wrong.
A bump in the road makes the track skip.
"Dom?" And he looks over to the driver's seat. "Been trying to get your attention near five minutes now." He doesn't take off his headphones.
Maybe there are words from him.
"We need to talk."
He turns the volume up. Drowns himself in the pulsating of drums. Tries to block out what he doesn't want to hear. Billy's notes. They’re all wrong.
