This is a response to the
lotrpschallenge challenge.
It happened again… He just fucking wished Billy would make up his mind; be a man about it. Dominic knew he couldn’t take much more of this: the uncertainty, the questions, the confusion… the waiting. Waiting for Billy to return with a decision made, ready to either love or forget.
It was like Billy enjoyed this, enjoyed steamrolling Dom’s heart into wet cement, watching him struggle breathlessly to escape, then, just before the cement dried, offering him a reluctant hand to help him escape the certain death of being alone.
Dominic bit the heads off of gummi bears before anything else, as if to keep the colorful snacks from suffering. It was silly, but his mind worked in odd ways.
He wished Billy would hurry and bite off his head instead of slowly nibbling his arms and taking his time.
Then he would be at peace, like the gummi bears.
