“How the hell had this happened?” Blurs of memories from the night before that had been drowned in liquor were flashing before his green eyes.

Next to him under the duvet, lay an angel wearing only a black hat. The celestial being was sleeping. In nighttime, it was a little devil that was dangerous to tamper with.

The memories were gradually coming back now. A lot of beer, beer and oh, did he mention beer? Followed by stronger stuff… whiskey? Yes. His head was telling him so.

Dom was still sleeping, looking innocent. But not last night, he hadn’t. Music, right? Yeah, loud music. Poor neighbors… Had been late when they turned up the stereo.

His head was throbbing. Aspirin and cola might be a good idea. Billy slowly got out of his bed, careful not to wake his friend. Empty beerbottles everywhere.

The livingroom. A mess of course. More bottles and the half empty whiskeybottle. CD’s were lying around. Including “The best of Joe Cocker”. Billy’s face flushed when he thought about the second track.

Dom had put that cd on. When he had recognised the tune, he had cranked up the volume. Had kicked of his shoes and jumped on the coffeetable. Had begun to take of his shirt, socks, T-shirt…

Billy had laughed his arse off… But Dom hadn’t stopped there… black polished nails had reached for the zipper and button …lowering his pants….

Billy had only realised that Dom never wore underwear, at the very moment he saw the silly fucker standing buck-naked on his table.

Well, he indeed HAD kept his hat on…
