But I kind of like this, this is the sort of thing I really like writing, and it sort of went bleugggggh all over the page in a very Eddie Izzard style way. It's humour. Or well, I try humour. But no, I get the obvious joke out the way early on, so don't worry about that, right?

Time for the first fic_inspiration challenge of the new year, now that all the holiday challenges are over... This time, I will give you a chapter title from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, which you will then have to use as title for your fic. Deadline is January 22, 2005 and you can sign up at any time before that by commenting here.

There are no other regulations, you can do what you like with the story, just as long as you make your story fit the prescribed title in some way. Your fic can be any fandom and genre you like. I'd actually love it if there were as many different fandoms as possible! So please, spread the word... And excuse the massive cross-posting! :)
