You asked for it - I asked for it - and here it is.

Title: 101 Things To Do In Zero Gravity
Status: WIP - Part 1/?
Author: Pip of [livejournal.com profile] acroamatica
Pairing: BB/DM
Rating: R
Summary: A wee little space opera in the classic style, with added Hobbity goodness. Obviously rather future AU - begins in June 2087, in fact, slightly before the events depicted in Sniper 470.
Content/Warning: Implied slash, angst, language.
Spoilers: Sniper 470.
Disclaimer: If I told you I owned them, that this was all real, and that I was making loadsamoney writing about it, would you believe me? Because I would find that very entertaining. I don't own Sniper 470 or anything connected with it either.
Author's Notes: About a month ago [livejournal.com profile] semaphore27 posted a meme where she solicited strange Monaboyd fanfic ideas. My delighted submission asked for something I know others have wanted - a Sniper 470/Monaboyd x-over. But I have this feeling she's probably much too busy to write it, and anyway I'm the sci-fi nutter - so I've done it. I offer my apologies and thanks to the following people for their help and inspiration: Jane, Mer, Isaac Asimov (my Dom, I think, owes much to Lucky Starr), Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, Harlan Ellison, Gene Roddenberry, and the incomparable and sadly-missed Douglas Adams, from whom I lifted the title of this fic.

Author: Semaphore
Pairing: Billy/Dom
Rating: PG-13 Language, for now. Yes, it's still angsty!
Summary: It's the end of the world as we know it and no one feels fine. Attack of the rabid AU crossover plotbunny: in which the world of Lotrips mingles with Stephen King’s The Stand, with the timelines bumped slightly into the future. In a nutshell, the basic premise of the book is: after the population of the US has been devastated by a "super flu" the survivors divide into two groups, those who follow Mother Abigail, and represent good, and those who are drawn to Randall Flagg, a demon.
The former Hobbits and Sean Astin’s family take a road trip up to the Napa Valley for a mini-break, completely unaware that everything around them’s about to change.
Feedback: longed for and appreciated
Disclaimers: This is entirely fictional. No disrespect intended. The people involved belong to themselves. The Stand was written by Stephen King.

“…the persistent sound in the row behind him signaled the end to all that: there would be no more sequels, and in a very short time, there would be no more movies at all.
In the row behind Larry, a man was coughing.”
