“Orli and Daisy are spending the night at the Hilton too. I think it’s their ‘special’ night.” Dom smiled as he laced his fingers with Billy’s.
“What are we going to do about Karl?” Billy frowned as his eyes searched the yard for Craig. Finding him sitting off to the side of the party talking to Jorge, he smiled. Jorge actually had a smile on Craig’s face as he spoke to him.
“I’ll have a word with Jorge, He’ll look after him.” Dom murmured pulling Billy into his embrace and nuzzling against the back of his neck “It’s our engagement night Bills, let everyone else worry about themselves.”
“What we saw doesn’t worry you just a little bit?” he murmured twisting his neck so that Dom could kiss along the column of flesh there.
“Of course it does, but it really was kinda hot Bills, and they are big boys….as I’m sure you noticed.” He grinned against Billy’s neck “It’s their problem.”
“I know I know.” Billy whimpered as Orlando and Daisy, Elijah and Emilie walked towards them.
Emilie embraced them both. “Orli and Daisy are going to drive you two to the hotel now, if you’re ready.” She smiled saucily, “Since we all know exactly what you’ve been up to.” She grinned as Billy blushed crimson. “Lij and I will look after things here and tidy up. We’ve got it covered until you get back Charlie boy.” She hugged them both tightly “Now scoot and say goodbye and get out of here so you can shag each other senseless.”
The couple quickly made their way around the backyard, receiving well wishes from Peter, Liv, and the cast of Lost.
"Jorge, Craig," Dom smiled warmly at the two men deep in conversation. Jorge stood up, embracing both Dom and Billy.
"Dudes, this is so awesome. I'm so happy for the both of you," he said happily.
"Congratulations," Craig joined in. Billy noticed that he seemed more relaxed and wondered if he knew, or cared, what Karl was up to.
"Thank you, and thank you so much for coming," Billy thanked them. "We've come to say goodbye, actually. We're heading to the hotel, and tomorrow morning we'll be off to Scotland."
"I just need to steal Jorge away for a moment to talk about filming," Dom said giving Billy a knowing look. He hugged and wished Craig well before taking his co-star away.
"What's up, man?" Jorge got straight to the point. He knew Dom and he would never pull him into a private conversation to talk about filming.
"Craig." Dom answered, never one to beat around the bush when it came to Jorge. The man valued honesty, something Dom deeply admired in him.
Billy stayed with Craig and sat in the chair that Jorge had vacated, he wasn’t sure what to say to his friend, but he didn’t want to leave him alone with his thoughts either.
“Really Craig, thanks for coming, I know it was hard.” He stated solemnly.
“It was only hard on the plane Billy.” Craig sighed his small grin fading. “It’s been lovely actually being here, Jorge has been looking after me quite nicely.”
“He’s a nice guy Craig.” Billy stated “you could do worse than him.”
“I’m so far off the market Bill that I don’t think I’ll ever be on it again.” Craig sighed sadly.
“Then spend some time here with him, just have fun.” Billy shrugged, glancing over at Dom and Jorge, their heads close together deep in conversation. “He’ll take your mind off anything.”
"It's not my mind that I'm worried about," Craig told Billy honestly. "Five years is a long time to love someone and then realize that it was all a lie."
Billy threw an arm around Craig and hugged him. "I don't believe that it was a lie. Karl loved and still loves you. Maybe the two of you just aren't in love anymore, but don't think that what you had was based on a lie. It wasn't."
Billy looked over at Dom and Jorge in time to see Dom looking back at them. "What you need right now is a good friend. I'm sorry that Dom and I can't be here for you, but Dom trusts Jorge like a brother. He'll make you remember how to laugh and smile, and that's the first step in healing this," he placed his hand over Craig's chest.
"Don't you dare apologize for going on away to be together. You and Dom are the only reason why I still have some belief in love. The two of you are very lucky, and we're all very jealous."
"Dude, you haven't been engaged twelve hours and already he's gotten tired of you," Jorge's amused voice interrupted. Billy and Craig looked up to see Dom and Jorge smiling at them with amused expressions on their faces.
“Never, but Craig here is an outstanding catch.” Billy smiled at Jorge.
“Oh I know.” Jorge replied, his eyes meeting Craig’s, a wide smile crossing his happy face, not even bothering to hide the interest in his gaze. Craig looked away blushing, long seconds later Jorge returned to his conversation with Dom.
“Look after him for me Jorge?” Dom asked quietly. “After tonight he’ll need a friend and I know I can trust you to be there for him.”
“What’s happening tonight?” Jorge frowned.
“His boyfriend is in the house fucking one of my guests, and officially he and Craig haven’t split yet.” Dom replied quietly watching to make sure Craig wasn’t watching them.
“Nice. Want me to kick his ass?” Jorge spoke softly.
“Nope but I would like you to hold Craig together. He’s a good guy and he needs a friend rather desperately.”
“Done Dude.” Jorge grinned “He’s quite a dish; I’m going to enjoy this.”
Dom patted him on the back and smiled. "Thanks man, I knew I could count on you. Now if you'll excuse me…"
Jorge laughed at the gleam in Dom's eyes. "Go on. Take your fiance and get out of here. I'm surprised that the two of you made it this long."
Dom looked away, whistling, causing Jorge to burst into laughter. "Man. I hope the beds at the hotel are bolted to the wall."
Billy stood up when he saw Dom and Jorge walking over. "Ready to go, Mr. Boyd?" he asked, reaching out to grab Dom's hand.
"Of course, Mr. Monaghan," Dom said, pulling Billy into his arms. "Craig, Jorge: while I'd really like to stay here chatting with you…"
"Shagging Billy senseless is more appealing?" Jorge asked sitting beside Craig once again.
"Yes," Dom replied, nodding his head in agreement.
"I'm hurt. Can you believe that Craig? They'd rather shag than hang out with us."
Craig shook his head, making soft tsk-tsk sounds. "Some people really need to get their priorities in order."
Craig stood and pulled both Dom and Billy into a quick tight embrace. “thanks for everything both of you.”
“You’ve got a bed here for as long as you need it Craig.” Dom spoke softly against Craig’s ear “Stay for a while, it’ll be good for you.”
“I just might take you up on that.” Craig smiled as he released them. “Now go and enjoy yourselves.”
Billy and Dom smiled and waved at their guests as they ran through the waiting throng towards the car that Dave and Orlando had already stowed their luggage in. Climbing into the back seat, their fingers tightly laced through each others, they turned to wave to their friends as Dave drove them away from their Hawaiian home.

Dom yawned and shifted uncomfortably in his seat. The airport was fairly busy even at this early hour, and Dom pulled his baseball cap further down to hide his face.
Yawning again, he shifted his weight over, inadvertently bumping into Billy.
"Sit still, Dom," Billy whispered, looking around the crowded airport.
"I can't, Bills," Dom whined. "It hurts. I think it's broken."
"We don't have time for that, Dommie. Now just be a good boy and try to think of fluffy clouds or something."
Billy rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. "It's not broken, and it's your fault that it hurts."
"My fault? I'm not the one hung like a horse, Bills. Wait…I am hung like a horse. I mean…stop, you're confusing me. All I know is that this was your fault. I'll never manage on the plane."
"Dom, it is your fault. I wanted to go to bed. You're the little nymph who couldn't take no for an answer," Billy reminded the man beside him. "Please, Bills. It's the start of our new life. Please, Bills: I need you so much. Harder, Bills, harder."
Dom stuck out his bottom lip and shifted again. "Yeah, well. It hurts now, and I should just make you kiss it better."
Billy leaned over and licked slowly across Dom's protruding bottom lip. "Ordinarily I'd be right there baby, kissing it better as much as you liked, you know my tongue can fix all your owies." He whispered "However, we're in the middle of a crowded airport and as much as I know the fans love you, I'd prefer to keep you all to myself today. Is that too much to ask?"
"Not when you put it like that." Dom sighed against Billy's mouth, pulling him into a long deep kiss.
"Can you sit still for me just for a little while?" Billy whispered one hand surreptitiously dropping down to caress the inside of Dom's thigh.
"Baby keep doing that and I'll be squirming for a completely different reason." Dom sighed letting his legs fall open under Billy's touch.
"If you're a good boy, we might be able to find a way to join that club you're always wondering about on the flight." Billy whispered, before pulling his touch away from Dom as he watched the approach of a group of people all wearing baseball caps and sunglasses.
Laughing he pointed to them and let his teeth catch Dom's earlobe before he spoke against his ear. "Nothing like traveling incognito is there?" he chuckled.
"Is that supposed to be their idea of incognito?" Dom laughed. He stood up and gingerly walked towards his friends.
"You okay there, Sblomie?" Elijah asked, barely managing to hold back his giggles. "You're walking a bit…oddly."
"Fuck off, Doodle," Dom hissed, hugging the blue-eyed boy.
"What? I'm concerned about you. Did you slip in the shower? Charlie horse? Get it? Charlie horse."
Dom shook his head and turned to hug a smiling Emilie. "How are you, Em?"
"Not as good as you, I see," she teased, causing Elijah to giggle even louder.
"Laugh all you want, Elwood. At least I got some last night…and the night before...and the night before."
Elijah's laughing stopped and he stuck his tongue out at Dom. "Yeah, well. Viggo's taking this whole 'I don't want to be a grandfather' thing a bit too far. I'm getting tired of sleeping on the couch."
He paused long enough to shove the plastic bag he was holding in Dom's hands. "Speaking of couches, I figured one of you would need that. It'll make the plane ride more bearable."
Dom raised an eyebrow and opened the bag, laughing when he saw one of the small cushions from his sofa. "Thanks, Lij. I knew you cared."
"Whatever," Elijah grumbled. "Thanks to you, I owe Karl $5. I'm disappointed, Dom. I figured that it would have been your turn to top."
“That would depend on where the event is taking place now wouldn’t it Lij?” Billy spoke wrapping his arm around Dom’s waist. “Has anyone told you lot if you want to be inconspicuous you shouldn’t travel in a pack?” Billy grinned at them.
“We wanted to see our favourite fiance’s off in style.” Craig spoke, happily ensconced in Jorge’s warm but casual embrace.
“We’re only your favourites cos we’re the only ones you know.” Dom laughed.
“I’m wounded.” Dave smiled, pressing his hand over his heart. “Seriously we just wanted to make sure you got on the plane so ringbearer here could start his intensive therapy without fear of setback.”
“oh fuck off all of you.” Lij pouted, pulling Emilie back into his embrace for a quick kiss.
“Everybody is a bloody comedian apparently.” Dom rolled his eyes as their flight number was called.
"Well, that's us," Billy said quietly, a wave of emotion suddenly washing over him. It felt like he was in New Zealand again at the end of filming. The only consolation was that this time he wouldn't be returning to Scotland alone.
Billy hugged his friends then made his way over to the shady looking man leaning against the wall.
"You look like Strider," he said walking into Viggo's open arms. He rested his head on Viggo's chest, not surprised when a few tears began rolling down his cheeks.
"Thank you, Vigs. For everything. You've helped us so much. I don't know how I can ever thank you enough."
Viggo rubbed Billy's back, making soft, soothing noises. "Love each other. And talk to each other. We could have been doing this five years ago if the two of you would have just talked."
Placing a kiss on Billy's head, Viggo continued, "It's not always going to be easy, but I need you to promise me that when things get too much, you'll remember how much you love each other. Don't ever forget that. Don't ever think that Dom doesn't love you, okay? Everything he did, everything he does, everything he will do, is done out of love."
Billy nodded, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. "We'll see each other soon, Vigs. You can come and visit us." Viggo smiled and embraced Billy again.
"Aufwiedersehen, my king," Dom greeted coming up beside the two men. "Hey, Bills. What's wrong?"
“just remembering the last time we did this.” Billy murmured “So glad I’m not going alone this time.”
“You be good to each other.” Viggo stated calmly. “If one of you hurts the other there’ll be hell to pay.”
“Yes dad.” Billy answered cheekily. Leaning up he hugged Viggo tightly before releasing him.
“C’mon Dommeh, before I turn into a girl’s blouse.”
“that’d be too late I think.” Sean stated “But we love you just the way you are.”
“Gee thanks Sean.” He rolled his eyes as he lifted his carryon luggage and hugged their friends tightly.
“You know where we are, if you need a break you know where to find us.” He spoke as he laced his arm around Dom’s back and they walked towards their departure gate.
Billy handed their boarding passes to the flight attendant, turning around to wave one last time to the group behind them.
"Enjoy your flight, sirs," she smiled warmly, recognizing their names. After watching Lord of the Rings, she had always suspected there was more to their friendship, and she was thrilled to see that she was correct. Too bad that none of her friends would believe her though.
Dom smiled back, giving her a knowing wink, as he and Billy made their way into the plane. The couple found their seats in first class, Dom discretely slipping the cushion underneath him.
"I love you, Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan," Billy whispered, kissing Dom's left hand. The silver band was cool against his warm lips, and he sighed happily laying his head on Dom's shoulder.
"I love you, William Boyd," he heard as his eyes closed and protective arms held him.
