Part 2

“Where’s Billy?” Lij said casually.
“In the bedroom.” Dom said before looking at Lij with a stern eye.
“What’s happened now? Are you ok?” Lij said looking towards the door of the bedroom.
“Nothing. I’m fine.” Dom said. “Want a drink?”
“Yeah… are you sure you’re ok?”
“Heineken or Stella?”
“Dom, what’s wrong man? You’re not usually this well… uptight.”
“I’m fine Lij. Well, do you want a beer or not?”
“Mmyeah, Heineken. I don’t mind. So, what you done today?”
“Just stuff, you know. Working on Shooting Lieven still. It’s really taking it out of me at the moment.”
“Mmm. I went to see a preview of Eternal Sunshine today. I don’t like it at the mom-“
Billy emerged from his room with a tear stained face.
“Hi Billy are you-”
“Billy! Hi…” Dom said grabbing his arm. Lij looked at Billy and then at Dom. “Be back in a minute Lij.” Dom said before ushering Billy out of the lounge and into the bedroom.
“I thought I told you to stay here!” Dom whispered loudly, shutting the door.
“This is my house too, Dom! And anyway, Lij is my friend as-”
Elijah crept into the room.
“Is everything alright in here?” He said quietly. Billy looked anxiously from Elijah to Dom.
